Eager to please, loves people, loves other dogs, shy until he's familiar and then he's just a ball of energy who loves to play, loves to learn, and is ready for his new life. Definitely a mix but predominantly Doberman, especially based on his behaviors. If you're familiar with the breed, he's going to be a breeze! Even with little to no experience, we feel he is a great pup for someone who is looking for a good all around pup who just needs time to learn and grow with his people!

Story

Josie came from the shelter a few months ago at about 9 months old. We were told she was 2 years old at adoption, however the vet soon confirmed she was significantly younger. Josie is fun and sweet, and wonderful with people, including children. She’s very affectionate and really seems to think she’s a lap dog. She does not get along well with other dogs, though, and this is the problem. We love Josie, and we have done everything we can to try and keep her. She spent a week with a trainer and came back much calmer and more attentive, and she’s great with all the basic commands, however she is still reactive when it comes to other animals. We have three older dogs and have to keep Josie separated from them, when this fun-loving, young dog really should have the ability to roam freely throughout the house and yard. She needs to be the only pet in a loving, engaged household. Josie will come with her vet records as well as her supplies, such as food, harness, and kennel, if desired.
