Sweet, outgoing, and incredibly loyal Doberman looking for an active forever home. She is amazing with kids, very eager to please, and loves being around her people. She gets along great with Chihuahuas and other small dogs, and with a proper introduction, she plays extremely well with larger dogs too. She especially loves playful male dogs but can get along with females as well.She is high-energy and loves hiking, exploring, and playing, but she also knows how to settle down and relax. She has great off-leash manners and recall, rarely barks, and is very well trained. She knows commands/tricks including wait, stay, come, lay down, right paw, left paw, middle, and more!She is still working on leash manners and can pull when excited, but she is very responsive and eager to learn.She would be happiest with an active person or family who wants a loyal, loving companion and can give her mental stimulation and exercise.(She takes proinER monthly ($30/m) and doesn’t have any issues on it!)

Duke is an awesome dog with intelligence and personality. We had to move into a sub development with small lot, I had some medical issues and we rescued another dog. In the midst of all this Duke became very protective. He began growling at people he wasn’t familiar with and once when we had guests in our yard that he didn’t know were there, he was let out by one of our kids and he bit one of them on the arm. We were hoping to buy land as he would be a great ranch dog, he has natural hunting/protection and herding instincts. He should not go into a home without a good yard and I cannot recommend a home with children unless the new owner is experienced with this type of behavioral management. We love Duke but with our crazy lives we just cannot keep him here and risk anything happening that would force us to have him put down.

Thelma became the more dominant of the 2, and unfortunately, the girls began fighting, it eventually became frequent enough that, for their safety and happiness, we now keep them separated. Our biggest concern is finding the right loving, responsible home for each girl.💕Louise is our silly, playful girl.She has a fun personality and loves to play and interact with other dogs. She is obedient, affectionate, and enjoys being around people.💕Thelma because of her dominant nature and history with Louise, we want to be especially careful finding a home that is a good match.Both girls are loved very much, this decision has not been easy.
