If you are looking for the ultimate all-around family dog, Randy is your guy! This handsome fella sports the classic, athletic Doberman look, but don’t let it fool you—he has the laid-back temperament of a cozy house cat and an absolute heart of gold. Randy is a professional companion. His absolute favorite thing is just hanging out with his people. He’s the king of the "head lean," and will happily rest his chin on your leg until you give him the pets he deserves. He’s incredibly social and greets every single newcomer with a wagging tail (so if you’re looking for a fierce guard dog, Randy isn't your man!). He’d be perfectly content as an only dog, but he’s also great with other pups of all sizes and is happy to share the spotlight with a playmate. The Good Boy Checklist: House-training: 10/10! Not a single accident in his foster home. Crate-training: Doing great! He might need a little coaxing to get in, but he rests quietly and contentedly. Car Rides: Absolute champ. He "loads up" in his foster's SUV, ready for any adventure. Randy likely spent the start of his life as a stray, which left him with some old, improperly healed fractures in his front elbow and back leg. It gives him a unique, slightly wonky gait and a bit of a limp, but the vet folks say it’s fully healed and pain-free! He still loves to burn off energy with occasional backyard zoomies before rushing back inside to his true passion: lounging on a plush dog bed right next to you. Hello! Found this wonderful pup wandering around an industrial area and he was nearly hit by a car! I tried to find the owner to no avail and decided to bring him home until a new home can be found. His breed is a mystery, but he does look like he might have some Shepard somewhere and maybe even some terrier, does look like a mini pincer. He’s a super cuddler and enjoys being loved on. My kids have affectionately named him Fred. And he does respond well to commands sit and wait. We unfortunately cannot keep him due to financial strain. Please help this cute little guy out in becoming his forever owners!
