Story
Atlas is a playful, energetic and cuddly 8 yr old Doberman. He has grown up with his "brother", Jax and his human family since he was about 6 weeks old. Atlas is a lover, not a fighter. He likes to believe he is a lap dog and will lean into your hand with his head until he has maneuvered it to the top of his head for a loving pat. Atlas is protective of his humans but is not aggressive and has never had a bite incident. He is house broke and roams freely but is also crate trained and will go into his kennel when instructed. He loves to play outside. Atlas is a chewer, so strong toys are a must. Atlas gets along well with children, cats and other dogs. Atlas' tail was docked (against his human's wishes before they were able to bring him home from the person he was adopted from), but his ears were never cropped. Atlas would adjust best if he were able to remain with his "brother" Jax (Great Dane/Akita mix). They are very close and might have difficulties adjusting alone.

Story
Where do I start.. Iris is a 3 year old shepherd mix. She was found off the side of the road in a pile of brush she, and her best friend Moo, called home. Iris was extremely pregnant when she was found, but was also incredibly unhealthy and skin and bones. After allowing us to rescue her and Moo, Iris underwent emergency surgery to spay and remove her pups. Some may judge, but Iris would not have survived the delivery and neither would have her puppies. It was obvious Iris had some sort of physical trauma in her past after bringing her back to the kennels. After weeks of leash training and sitting in her kennel with her, Iris finally opened up and blossomed into the most loving girl. A month after Moo and Iris were finally comfortable in their new environment, Moo, Iris' companion, took a turn for the worst. Moo, who was older, went into liver failure and passed away. Iris was noticeably grieving for the months to follow and we allowed her to do so. During that time we had a litter of puppies abandoned to us and a baby goat who was scheduled for euthanasia we rescued. Iris didn't think twice. She took each pup and Bob, the goat, under her wing and did exactly what Moo did for her-helped them decompress in their time of need. I understand this was a long read, but it will help you understand how resilient and kind Iris is. She may be shy at first when meeting new people, but she is the most sweet soul I have personally ever met and deserves the best home. Please reach out with any additional questions or to schedule a meet and greet!

Jane is a sweet, and sometimes rambunctious, lap dog (or so she thinks). She gets along well with cats and small dogs (never have really had her around any medium/large dogs). Good with kids and other adults. Home and crate trained. Unfortunately, l've not been able to provide the extra time and space she needs and deserves, and she truly deserves the best.

Story
I have a 2 year old Rhodesian Ridgeback/Doberman that I have to rehome. She is typical of her breeds, a velcro dog. She is abnormally large though weighing 110-115, but healthy. She is spayed, potty trained and crate trained, although that is complicated. She has displayed separation anxiety, we think, in her crate, she tends to lick and chew herself. So we basket muzzle her at night which she does not enjoy but deals with. We love her, she is a gem, but the complexities of our situation have become overwhelming. Mocha is very much loved and it is so important to us that she has the best chance at never having to go through this again. We can totally donate her crate with her, if interested. She has bad manners, jumping up on people and pulling on the leash until we can get her settled down, but she is such a love. She is a whiner when she wants something, but she is such a goof as well. She would like to be more active but she also loves to cuddle! She does need training.
