Story

Duke is an awesome dog with intelligence and personality. We had to move into a sub development with small lot, I had some medical issues and we rescued another dog. In the midst of all this Duke became very protective. He began growling at people he wasn’t familiar with and once when we had guests in our yard that he didn’t know were there, he was let out by one of our kids and he bit one of them on the arm. We were hoping to buy land as he would be a great ranch dog, he has natural hunting/protection and herding instincts. He should not go into a home without a good yard and I cannot recommend a home with children unless the new owner is experienced with this type of behavioral management. We love Duke but with our crazy lives we just cannot keep him here and risk anything happening that would force us to have him put down.

Glory is a gorgeous, resilient pup who has overcome incredible challenges. She came to us after being tied up for 3 years - she was emaciated and had 7 puppies with her. Her spirit was not broken but she is cautious of new people for about 48 jours and then becomes your best friend. She deserves a forever home where she can be cherished, spoiled, and celebrated for the amazing survivor she is. Glory is proof that beauty, love, and happiness shine brighter than any hardship. Glory is located in our shelter in Hondo, Texas. Tipsy tested positive for Chagas disease and has started treatment. This is completely curable after treatment and dogs can go on to live long and happy lives. Our rescue is one of the first to do Chagas testing for all of the dogs in our care and is having measurable success in the treatment protocol. Tiva is a typical Min Pin! She takes her time to warm up to you but once she trusts you she is yours forever! She loyal, smart, and protective of her friends! Tiva was found running the streets of San Antonio. The person who found her kept her for several weeks then decided she needed help with finding the right home for her. She did not want Tiva to end up on the streets again! We are not sure how Tiva would do with young children as she is one that will need someone who will be patient with her and let her warm up first.
