Story
Meet Stella – Your new Adventure Buddy and Cozy Companion! Stella is a sweet and easygoing girl who has quickly settled into her foster home and routine. At night, she sleeps peacefully on a dog bed in their bedroom. She’s an early riser and loves to head outside first thing in the morning for a cup of coffee on the porch. After her early morning outing, she usually goes back to sleep until it’s time for breakfast! During the day, Stella is a total gem. She free-roams the house without issue—she’s fully potty trained and doesn’t chew on anything she shouldn’t. She’s calm and relaxed when her foster family is gone, and when they return, she greets them with enthusiasm—but never jumps up. She’s also been a gracious host to visitors, getting excited but staying polite. Her fosters even had friends come over with their dogs and she has met them with ease! Stella is an outdoor explorer & nature enthusiast! Stella just simply loves being outside. Whether she’s exploring the yard or heading out for a walk, she’s always up for an adventure. She’s a great co-pilot for car rides and does well at events like soccer games, where there’s lots of people and activity. Her foster dad took her to one of his soccer games and Stella watched patiently, no barking, no whining, and enjoyed being watched by the team! She is a social gal for sure! Stella would make a fantastic companion for someone who enjoys hiking, trail walking, or even running. She’s independent outside and typically ignores her foster siblings unless they initiate interaction. We were told she likes to step into pools, though she hasn’t tried it here yet—but if you get in, prepare for zoomies! she gets happy for you for entering the pool! She is so funny. Indoors, Stella is more social with her foster siblings. She enjoys her toys and isn’t shy about letting others know when one’s “hers”—but it’s all communication, and everyone respects it. If a sibling has a toy she wants, she won’t take it, but will whine a bit and then either wait her turn or move on. Stella is respectful like that! No scuffles or tension —just healthy, respectful dog dynamics. She takes corrections well from her foster siblings and reads social cues nicely. She’s learning the ropes of pack life and fitting in beautifully. She is loving, balanced, and people-friendly. Stella strikes a lovely balance between being affectionate and independent. She enjoys attention, will ask to be petted, and likes to snuggle—but she’s not needy. She’s just the right mix of social and well-mannered! Stella is very food- and treat-motivated, which makes training easy. She responds well to gentle correction. She loves to cuddle and will back herself right into you when it’s time to relax. Stella settles nicely when you’re busy and will lay calmly on her mat. She could be a great work from home buddy! She is gentle lead trained, walks great on a leash and enjoys exploring with you! Stella is a wonderful blend of adventure and affection, independence and loyalty. She’s looking for a forever home where she can continue to explore, snuggle, and thrive. Could that be with you? We travel to WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT and Canada (Canadian adopters will need to pick up in Bellingham, WA or Brattleboro, VT for the eastern Canadian border)! Our pups travel in comfort with 24/7 care on our USDA licensed vehicles, including buses and cargo vans. You can join along on our private Facebook event page to follow their adventure, connecting you with other adopters and providing updates throughout their transport journey! You will get to meet your new pup over a video call before signing paperwork, creating a fun and personalized adoption experience! The adoption fee is $900 and includes all vetting (DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, a 12 month heartworm preventative injectable, heartworm test and treatment if needed, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and priceless years of love and loyal companionship! We have over 15,000 successful adoptions so far and have excellent Google Reviews: https://g.co/kgs/UQ5Pyai We care deeply about making the perfect match between dog and family for long term success. Our rescue has a 2 acre property in Texas where we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group trainings and socialization play groups to keep dogs adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers support the positive growth of our dogs and we enjoy seeing their progress! Our commitment to comprehensive medical care sets us apart. We've received glowing feedback from veterinarians who commend our dedication to ensuring the health and well-being of every animal in our care with treatments that often go above and beyond. Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet. The rescue’s hard costs alone (excluding transport) for a healthy dog to go through our program typically range between $412 to $859, which includes boarding, food, medications, vaccines, and spay/neuter. For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,368. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the adoption fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. Transport is a significant additional expense to the rescue. While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that the rescue does not receive government funding and must fundraise to offset the remaining expense balance which ranges $100-1,000++ per animal on these direct costs. It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these SPECIAL PERKS: Extensive behavioral testing and information from trainers on our staff to ensure the perfect fit for your family Discounts on Embark DNA test kit- $30 off of Breed ID test & $50 off of Breed ID plus Health test 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion A free private online dog training session with GoodPup, plus low pricing for future sessions 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a delicious PNW based fresh dog meatballs subscription Coupons for a fun visit to Petco 20% off of Dr. Cuddles pet first aid and hygiene solutions Discounted heartworm, flea prevention, and monthly dewormer Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! Did you know that the Greater Houston area faces some of the highest stray and overpopulation rates in the nation? We are a non profit charity. Our goal is simple— to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and by rescuing animals from the streets or overcrowded shelters where euthanasia due to lack of space is often the only option. The dog you've found online is not only lucky to be in our program, but also incredibly fortunate to have caught your eye. Thank you for considering adoption and for joining us in our mission! Story
we adopted Benny 2 years ago when he was just 13 weeks, we recently had an opportunity come up that we couldnt pass by, do to this opportunity we can barely attend to Benny, we try our best to get him out buts it’s just not enough, mornings and nighttime’s are really the only times we see him, we do let him out during the day but thats if someone comes home early everyone in my household has jobs so its very hard to care for him and attend to him, thats why putting him up is the best option just cause we want him to live the best years and unfortunately we cant give that to him, we want him to go to a loving and caring home, hes very active and loving, we have two toddlers that play with him when they come over and Benny is very gentle with them, he doesnt rip up furniture, but he does go through a lot of toys, we hate for him to go but it pains us to see him inside all day alone.

Story
Adele is 14 months old. We got her from a local Breeder last April . Our dogs are “working dogs” and go to the golf course with my husband everyday. Unfortunately Adele tore her ACL in December and can no longer work. We did have it repaired and she is still some meds to keep her comfortable. She is very sweet, just very high energy. Adele would do well with someone who works from home and can give her a lot of attention. We do have two toddlers and she’s very good with kids , but she would do better in a child free home. She requires a lot of exercise and attention. Dobermans are known as “Velcro dogs” and she just wants to be with her human non stop. We are both working parents and unfortunately do not have the time to train her to be a house dog. I’m looking for a forever loving home for this sweet girl.

Meet Rico! He is currently 13 weeks old, and we think he may be a Doberman / Lab mix, but with rescue it’s always a guess! This puppy is from a part of the US where puppies are regularly euthanized. So, this puppy needs you! If you choose a puppy from this rescue, it saves their life AND it also allows us to save the life of another in its place. Watch Rico's video here: Meet Rico, the tiny pack leader with a heart full of mischief and a nose for adventure. As the most playful and rambunctious pup of the bunch, he's always leading the charge in games and playtime, turning every moment into a fun-filled romp. Whether he’s chasing after his siblings or bounding around with endless energy, Rico’s enthusiasm is contagious! But don’t let his fun party side fool you—after all the excitement, Rico loves nothing more than curling up with his favorite humans or snuggling with his siblings for a cozy nap. He’s got a soft spot for giving sweet puppy kisses, spreading love wherever he goes. With his playful puppy antics and affectionate nature, Rico is the perfect mix of energy and cuddles! Rico is still young so he will need a family that can commit to training, socialization and all the dedication puppyhood requires. Rico's new family will need to continue with potty and crate training and daily exercise. We require a commitment from adoptive families to crate train their new puppy. When old enough, they will be perfect to go on walks and hikes or show off around your neighborhood. You will be guaranteed to get lots of kisses in return from your new best friend!
