Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hi I am Zyon!  The sweetest brown eyed little boy out there!  I’m a 5 month old Doberman/Shepherd mix with the sweetest temperament.  I’m pretty nervous about everything since I’ve lived most of my life in the shelter.  My foster mom has taught me to be brave about stairs, toys, grass, trees and all kinds of new scary things.  I’m still skittish about loud sounds and hyper energy.  I’ll need someone who is patient and kind and willing to teach me how to continue to be brave.   As far as food goes….  I’m STARVING ALL THE TIME!!  Im a growing boy and will constantly search for food and a little aggressive at eating quickly because I think it’s my last meal.  Sometimes I react to other dogs coming near my food so I’m always working on that and doing better everyday!  I’m sleeping in a kennel and great at sleeping with my furry friends here and love snuggling with them.  I haven’t met a cat yet, but I’m pretty mellow and could be great with one!  I’m not very good at being by myself and howl a little, but I’m also learning how to be better at that.  I love being outside and sun bathing and am learning to play with a ball.  I’m pretty calm and often watch all the other dogs play around me and I’m a great napper during the day.  My foster mom says I’m doing great at coming to her and learning to go potty outside.  I love it when she scratches me on my neck and tummy, but I’m not a fan of kisses because they scare me.  I am a little more comfortable with females than males, but also learning to be brave with other people and kids.  If you’re looking for the perfect snuggle buddy and walking companion then I’d love to meet you and build a relationship with you!  Apply to meet me today at  https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplicationVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 29, 2026, 7:27 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hi, I’m Hazey—part Dobie, part Pinscher, part baby deer, and part tiny life coach here to remind you that sunshine, snacks, and emotional support shoes are what really matter. ☀️ I’m a 6-month-old girl weighing about 20 pounds right now, and I’ll likely grow into a lovely medium-to-large lady someday. I already know “sit,” I’m kennel trained, and I’m about 95% potty trained—so yes, I am basically a tiny scholar. I’m also very treat and food motivated, which means if you bring snacks, I am more than ready to further my education. When I first meet new people, I can be shy and timid in a very gentle way. I’m much more likely to pancake onto the floor like a fuzzy little flapjack than do anything dramatic. Once I feel safe, I’m a very sweet, quiet girl who just likes being near her people without being needy or clingy. I love finding a cozy corner to curl up in, but I also enjoy wandering around the backyard on my own little adventures. I’m independent, but I still like to check back in every so often just to make sure my humans are still around where I left them. I also take sunbathing in the grass very seriously—it’s one of my favorite hobbies. ☀️ I’m snuggly on my own terms, which means I prefer to make the first move in the cuddle department. I’d really love a home with another dog so I can have a sibling to help me build confidence and show me the ropes. As for my hobbies, I have refined tastes. I love cheese, raspberries, and casually carrying shoes outside as if I’m curating a backyard boutique. Don’t worry—I don’t chew shoes. I just appreciate the same little luxuries in life that you do. Kitchen towels are also fair game, because apparently I am committed to keeping life interesting. I’m sensitive about hearing “no,” so I’ll do best with gentle guidance, encouragement, and lots of praise when I get things right. The vacuum is not my favorite invention, but I can tolerate it from a respectful distance. My energy level is about a 4 out of 10, so I’m more sweet sidekick than chaos goblin. If you’re looking for a gentle, funny, tenderhearted puppy with excellent snack priorities, a flair for footwear, and the potential to become your very best little shadow, I just might be your girl. Yours truly, Hazey Let's grab some lunch together! Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Jolene, a gentle soul who is looking for a family to call her own. Jolene is a petite 1-2 year old Doberman Pinscher who loves going for walks and snuggling with her people. She is a very quiet, affectionate,  soulful girl that is so ready to find her forever family that will love and cherish her. She would make for a wonderful companion for anyone looking for a loyal friend. Jolene is fully House-trained, does great in a Crate, and has great house manners.   She is a little nervous of meeting new dogs and People at first but will warm up very quickly to anyone that just gives her a minute to sniff and get to know them.  Once she gets comfortable with the dogs she is really good with them and on the calmer, more submissive side.  She would do best with kids that are a little bit older (5+) only because she likes to snuggle up with them but wouldn't want to be pulled on or stepped on.   She hasn't met cats yet in her foster home,  so not sure how she is with them.   She is a smart girl that loves to learn and has been going to obedience classes to learn basic commands like sit,  down,  stay,  wait,  touch, watch me, and many others. She is pretty good on a leash and very food motivated.  Jolene is spayed, microchipped and current on her vaccinations.  To meet Jolene apply at https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplication    Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 29, 2026, 7:27 pm

Story
Ketchup is a stunning young fawn/Isabella Doberman with a big heart, a busy brain, soft ears you’ll want to pet forever, the cutest freckles on his nose, and an adorable white stripe on his chest. He is affectionate, playful, silly, food motivated, and very people-oriented. In many ways, he is like a giant puppy — joyful, bouncy, curious, and still learning how to channel all that enthusiasm. When he sees his people, he lights up: wiggly body, happy little nubby tail, and sometimes jumping up in excitement because he is just so thrilled to be near you. Once he trusts you, he wants to be close, involved in what you’re doing, and part of the rhythm of everyday life. Dobermans are known for being deeply loyal, athletic, intelligent, and very connected to their people. They often do best when they have structure, training, physical outlets, mental work, and a real role in daily life. Ketchup is very much a Doberman in that way — he wants to be close, involved, active, and engaged with his person. He is also a world-class snuggler. Ketchup loves to curl up close to his person, lean into your legs for pets in true Doberman fashion, and settle with quiet companionship. He has a sweet, sensory-seeking side too — he likes holding toys, carrying things around, and soothing himself by suckling on soft blankets or beds. He also loves squeaky and crinkly toys and will happily toss them around when he is feeling playful. Sometimes he will even nose-boop his squeaky toys just to make them squeak, which is ridiculously cute. One of his funnier habits is his very forceful “nose boop,” which is his enthusiastic way of asking for affection or attention. Ketchup loves toys, tug, puzzle feeders, training games, and anything that lets him use both his body and his brain. He would love an active person who wants to include their dog in daily life — walks, hikes, runs, training, exploring, and adventures together. He is not the kind of dog who wants to just sit around and look handsome, although he is very good at that too. He is happiest when he has a person to bond with, a routine to follow, and something meaningful to do. Ketchup also has some nice basics already. He knows sit and down, and he will sit politely for his dinner while his bowl is being set down. He is food motivated and enjoys training, which makes him a fun dog to work with for someone who wants to keep building on those skills. Around other dogs, Ketchup is still learning that seeing a dog does not always mean he gets to play or interact. Other dogs can be very exciting for him, and he can get frustrated when he wants to get to them. When he does play, he can be intense and overwhelming, and he may not always understand when another dog has had enough or is asking for space. Because of this, he is not a dog park or daycare dog. Instead, he will do best learning calm neutrality around dogs — noticing them, staying connected to his person, disengaging, and moving on. Any dog friends should be carefully selected, socially appropriate dogs who can handle his energy, with people who understand how to give breaks and keep play successful. Ketchup will do best with an adopter who has meaningful experience with large, athletic, high-energy dogs — ideally Dobermans or similar working breeds. He needs someone who understands that structure, consistency, training, and thoughtful management are part of helping a dog like him thrive. He is smart, sensitive, eager to connect, and will do best with someone who enjoys working as a team with their dog. In foster, Ketchup has shown that he can settle, sleep well overnight, enjoy enrichment, bond deeply with his people, and handle outings well when he has space and clear direction. He has also shown that cats and small animals are too exciting for him, so he should go to a cat-free home. Ketchup’s foster mom is also a dog trainer and is committed to supporting his transition after adoption. She is offering complimentary private lessons to help his new family understand what has been working for him, continue his training, and set him up for long-term success. For the right person, Ketchup has so much to offer. He is sweet, goofy, athletic, loyal, and eager to connect. He needs someone who appreciates the whole Doberman package: the beauty, the brains, the energy, the sensitivity, and the deep loyalty that come with the breed.
