Meet Rico! He is currently 5 months old, 25 lbs, and we think he may be a Doberman / Lab mix, but with rescue it’s always a guess! We think he will be less than 50 lbs when full grown, a perfect medium size.
Meet Rico, the tiny leader of the pack, with a heart full of spunk and a nose for adventure. As the most playful pup of the bunch, he's always leading the charge in games and playtime, turning every moment into a fun-filled romp. Whether he’s chasing after his siblings or bounding around with endless energy, Rico’s enthusiasm is contagious!

But don’t let his fun party side fool you—after all the excitement, Rico loves nothing more than curling up with his favorite humans or snuggling with his siblings for a cozy nap. He’s got a soft spot for giving sweet puppy kisses, spreading love wherever he goes. With his playful puppy antics and affectionate nature, Rico is the perfect mix of energy and cuddles!
Rico is a smart little guy too. He's already potty trained and crate trained, giving him a solid foundation for you to build on. He is dog, kid, and cat friendly, making him an easy addition to any home. He would do best in a home with a yard where he can run, play, and sunbathe to his heart's content. He is currently fostered in a loving foster home that is dedicated to setting him up for success with socialization and basic training.

Available for adoption in NV, MT, CO,UT, ID, OR, WA, Canada, and now the East Coast! Our PNW dogs are brought to you in style by a beautiful USDA licensed semi-truck, equipped with air conditioning for comfort, two drivers, and 2 onboard attendants providing 24 hour care. Our East Coast route will travel in a private, air conditioned 3LP-run van transport.
Pick up day is unforgettable! You will get to follow along on their journey through a private FB Event page, where you will see photos, have the opportunity to connect with other adopters, and receive updates and constant communication along the way. One of our Adoption Coordinators can help to find the closest transport pick up location to you!
The adoption fee is $900.00 and includes all vetting as recommended by our doctor: DAPP (2 to 4 depending on age and time in the program), Bordetella, Rabies vaccine (if old enough), multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, 2 months of heartworm preventative, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar for dogs over 4 months old, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship!
*WE ARE TOLD THAT WE GO ABOVE AND BEYOND MEDICALLY. This is the feedback we tend to get, although we cannot guarantee perfect health.
*To fully vet a dog in the PNW or the NE at many vets it would be upwards of $1,800 just to fix, vaccinate, chip, etc. The adoption fees charged by our rescue do not cover our expenses medically for each animal, but we offset costs with donations. Your adoption fee is considered a donation towards actual costs.

We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be!
