Come visit me at PAW!Adoption fee: $450Nova is a smart, energetic herding dog with a strong work-drive and a playful personality. Like many herding breeds, she sometimes nips or herds people and other animals - it’s just her way of trying to guide and interact with her environment! This is a great trait for herding breeds who work with livestock, but not so much for a suburban home with cats and kids. As such, we would prefer to find her a home with no cats, and older, respectful children who are up to learning about the Australian Shepherd breed. Nova is very enthusiastic to greet other dogs, so she would like to meet any new dog siblings before going home with them. She will thrive in an active home with an owner who understands herding behaviors and can give her lots of mental and physical stimulation. Training, structured play, and clear boundaries will help her channel this energy in the right way. Nova is a very clever girl who knows how to sit, down, stay, and come. Aussies are clever pups and need a lot of activity to keep them satisfied. We encourage all interested adopters to research the Australian Shepherd breed and see if Nova is the right fit for you.

Story
Come visit me at PAW!Adoption fee: $450Kayne is a young, energetic puppy with a big personality and even bigger potential. He’s strong, jumpy, and still learning his manners, so he’s looking for an experienced, patient home that’s ready to commit to training and continued socialization. Kayne will do best as the only pet in the home and in a household without young children, where he can get consistent structure and focused attention. With guidance, routine, and positive reinforcement, Kayne has all the makings of a loyal, fun-loving companion. He’s eager to learn and will thrive with someone who enjoys working with an active dog and helping him grow into his best self. If you’re looking for a one-and-only pup to train, bond with, and build a strong relationship with, Kayne could be the perfect match.

Story
Come visit me at PAW!Adoption fee: $450This is Sydney. This big beautiful shepherd is looking for an experienced home with no kids or other animals. Sydney is a big ball of energy who will need plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. She is a clever pup who knows how to sit, stay, lay down, come, and shake paw. Sydney has shown signs of food possession while in the shelter, and potentially has toy possession as well. We would like prospective owners to do research into food possession and have a plan on how to manage Sydney`s lifestyle with these traits in mind. Sydney also has a habit of being a tad mouthy, so she will need an owner who is up for some training so she can keep her mouth to herself. If you think you can provide a calm, structured environment for this beautiful gal, then swing by the shelter to meet with Sydney.
