Come visit me at PAW - Adoption fee $450 - Meet Scooby Doodle, the enthusiastic, adventure-loving pup who greets every day like it`s the best day ever!Scooby arrived at the shelter in desperate need of a makeover. His coat was so matted that he had to be completely shaved, so his future family will need to be committed to regular grooming to keep him looking and feeling his best. Fortunately, underneath all that fur was a happy-go-lucky dog with a huge personality and an even bigger zest for life. This cheerful guy loves meeting new people and believes everyone is a potential best friend. In fact, he gets so excited that he may greet you by jumping all over you—and if you`re not careful, he might greet your dining room table the same way! Scooby Doodle is still working on his manners and would benefit from continued training to help him learn that dinner belongs to the humans. When he`s not busy making friends, Scooby is ready for action. Whether it`s a walk, a hike, a game of fetch, or a new toy, he`s always eager to join the fun. His enthusiasm for life is contagious, and he`s sure to keep his future family entertained.Scooby has done well with cats, but he has shown some reactivity toward dogs while in the kennel environment. Any potential canine housemates will need to meet him before heading home to ensure everyone is a good match. One final thing to know about Scooby Doodle: he is not shy about sharing his opinions! He`s quite vocal in the kennel, so if crate training is part of the plan, you may want to add a pair of ear plugs to your shopping list.If you`re looking for a lively, affectionate companion who will keep you laughing, keep you moving, and fill your home with excitement, Scooby Doodle may be the perfect addition to your family.

Story
Come visit me at PAW!Adoption fee: $450Dodger is a big boy with an even bigger personality! This sweetheart melts down in full body wiggles when meeting new people. He has big feelings and might just jump up to kiss your face! Due to his enthusiastic nature we are looking for a home with older, studier kids who won`t get knocked over from him jumping up. Dodger has done well with other dogs while in shelter, and would like to meet any canine friends in your home before he`s adopted. Due to his prey drive we are searching for a home without cats or small pocket pets. He absolutely loves to chase toys around and carry them in his mouth. He`s been caught sleeping with a stuffed animal tucked next to him, so he appreciate a swing through the retail and rescue section of our shop for some goodies. Dodgers last owner described him as high energy, and he will need regular exercise to keep him healthy. While in shelter, Dodger has nervous peed inside a few different areas. His previous family stated he is housebroken, but we want adopters to keep an open mind and meet Dodger where he`s at.

Story
Come visit me at PAW - Adoption fee $450 - Meet Tux, an 11-year-old gentleman who is ready to find a peaceful home where he can enjoy his golden years at his own pace. While some dogs are all about toys, Tux prefers the simple pleasures in life—especially a nice walk. Exploring the world one stroll at a time is where he finds his greatest joy, and he`s always happy to stretch his legs and take in the sights and smells around him.Tux is a friendly fellow who enjoys meeting new people and gets along well with other dogs and even cats. He has a wonderful ability to make friends wherever he goes and is open to sharing his home with a variety of companions.Because Tux can be reactive to certain types of handling, he would do best in a home without young children. He is looking for a family that understands and respects his boundaries, allowing him the space to be his relaxed, easygoing self.At this stage in life, Tux isn`t looking for adventure or excitement—just a comfortable place to call home, a few enjoyable walks, and people who will love him for exactly who he is. If you`re searching for a sweet senior companion who is happy to do his own thing while sharing quiet moments by your side, Tux may be the perfect match.

Come visit me at PAW - Adoption fee $450 - Meet Maverick! If you`re looking for a big, goofy best friend with a heart of gold, Maverick might just be your perfect match! This handsome Staffy mix is full of personality, enthusiasm, and plenty of love to give. Maverick is searching for a family that can help him polish up his manners and continue building his confidence. Like many young-at-heart dogs, Maverick sometimes has his listening ears switched on... and other times he prefers to pretend they don`t exist! Thankfully, he`s highly motivated by treats, making training both rewarding and entertaining for everyone involved. In fact, it`s pretty safe to say Maverick has never met a treat he didn`t like.Maverick is a strong boy who can pull on the leash and get a little jumpy when he`s excited, so he`ll benefit from a family committed to providing guidance, consistency, and positive reinforcement. With patience and practice, this eager learner has all the potential to become a wonderful canine companion. When it comes to fun, Maverick is always ready for the next adventure. He loves toys of all kinds, enjoys going for walks, and is happiest when he`s exploring the world alongside his people. Whether it`s a stroll around the neighborhood, a game in the backyard, or simply hanging out together, Maverick is just happy to be included.Although Maverick is now a cheerful and outgoing boy, he was quite timid and reserved when he first arrived at the shelter. Thanks to the kindness and patience of staff, he slowly began to come out of his shell and show everyone his true personality. Because of this, he`ll need a family that understands he may need a little time to adjust and learn that his new home is a safe place. Once he settles in, you`ll discover a loyal, happy-go-lucky companion who will want to be by your side through all of life`s adventures.Maverick is excited to meet new people and canine friends. He may do well in a home with other pets, provided proper introductions are made to help everyone start off on the right paw.If you`re ready for a loving, playful, treat-motivated sidekick who will reward your patience with endless loyalty and affection, Maverick is waiting to meet you!

Story
Come visit me at PAW!Adoption fee: $450Lucy is a shy sweetheart who is looking for an empathetic home to help build her confidence. Once she warms up to you, expect to be showered in kisses! This girl may look like a puppy, but she`s fully grown - puppy vibes for life! Lucy has done well at the shelter with other dogs and would be fine in a home with other kinds of animals - provided a proper introduction of course. Because Lucy is a shy girl, she would like to meet any canine companions in the home before adoption. We are looking for a home without small children as loud, quick kids might be too much for this nervous girl. Lucy is incredibly playful and loves her squeaky toys. You can take a look through our gift shop for plushies if you`re interested. Lucy has done well with our dog walker volunteers and is quite the snugglebug out in the bark park. If you think you might be a good fit, come to the shelter to meet her!
