Story

Ginger is 7 months old. Ginger was at a Farmers' Market when she was about 4 weeks old. Our goal was to temporarily foster Ginger. Ginger is now ready for her forever home. Ginger is a cuddle bug and very gentle. She is curious and adventuresome. She loves to go on walks, hikes, and ride in the car. Ginger enjoys displaying her agility. Ginger is quick and loves to jump over things. Ginger has a personality that indicates she would be a good emotional support dog or a service dog. I have trained two dogs as service dogs for my husband. He has since passed, however, if he were alive, I would train Ginger to be his service dog. Please remember training a service dog is a 2-year long process. Ginger loves running and playing with my grandson (he is 10). Ginger loves to swim and ride in boats. She is very loving and attentive. Ginger is sensitive to emotions and responds to those emotions.

Story

Son and daughter-in-law bought this puppy and brought it into my home without permission in December. They are now incarcerated. I am a disabled veteran that just got left alone to take care of a total of six dogs and four cats on top of a working farm. I am unable to handle this many animals. I have to cut back the number of dogs. Solomon was born June 20, 2025. He has had his first set of puppy shots. I do not have the money to catch him up. Besides the puppy, he will come with a crate, puppy pads, what’s left of his bag of food, his personal blanket, & a dog bed. His breeder trained him to use the puppy pads, even while locked in a crate. I do not have the time nor the physical ability to keep taking care of him and all these others! He deserves someone who can give him the attention and love that he deserves! Adoption fee negotiable.

Story

Pistachio, a.k.a. Pitty, was adopted from Abilene, Texas, pound in January 2019. He was brought to my home without permission, however, was integrated into the family. His owners are now incarcerated. I am a disabled veteran, unable to physically handle six dogs & four cats that I have suddenly had to handle alone for six weeks on top of a working farm. I do not have the time nor the ability to continue taking care of all these animals by myself. He is sweet natured, doesn’t seem to require much, is picky about his food, and it’s hard to get weight on him. Does not seem to have a problem with female dogs, but male dogs is questionable. Has no problem with cats, & was with my granddaughter since she was born, although unsupervised, he became defensive, understandably. He would rather run than be aggressive, but is an amazing watchdog. Adoption fee negotiable.

Story

She was found on highway 6-7 years ago. She’d just been taken from puppies, once she quit lactating we got her spayed. She has the sweetest personality & is very playful. She has been with other dogs, & can get along with them with supervision, but she recently got into a fight with my female dog so I can no longer keep her. She hated cats & tried to attack them at first, but we trained her to accept the cats, and hasn’t tried to attack any in at least 6 years. As long as she’s under supervision, everything is OK. For 6 weeks, I’ve been taking care of 6 dogs, 4 cats, & my working farm alone. The couple who were taking care of her are now incarcerated. I can no longer continue to take care of these animals alone. Mamba needs someone who can give her the time, attention & love she deserves. Unsure of her age, but probably around 7-8 years. Adoption fee negotiable.
