Story
Cooper was rescued from the Palm Valley Shelter in the Rio Grande Valley in February of 2022. My boys and I decided to get a new pet after our long-time dog passed. Cooper has great energy and super playful. He is protective of us and a great alert dog that helps keep the house secure. He does appear to have some trauma with lighting and fireworks. Those festive days he prefers to stay in doors. We have also noticed that he can be possessive with food and water at times. Other than that, he's a great pet and great walking dog. My wife and I are just too busy these days with work and not giving him the attention he deserves. We both travel a lot too and it gets difficult for us to get someone to watch over him.

Story
Cami was a puppy when we found her on our property. She is crate trained only. Needs to be let outside as needed. She spends all of her time outside in a large fenced in area with shelter house. We bring Cami inside our house into a large kennel when the weather is too cold, or too hot outside, and during stormy weather. She does good inside a large kennel. Cami is an excellent guard dog. She warned my family about a snake twice! Several months ago, she warned us about live electricity that we could not physically see, but she could sense the electricity running through an outside metal gate where she was housed. My husband was shocked on his hand, and Cami also was shocked on her side, but both were over all okay. Cami hates cats and has killed small animals, a duck, pigeon and 2 Chachalacas. Barks a lot at cats and other animals. Has bitten a small dog, bit a cat and nipped a friend's behind. She loves to play to ball. She loves to play in water. Would benefit from dog training.

He is good on a leash and loves to go for long walks. He is happy as long as he is with you. He is an affectionate fellow and is happy to sit in your lap if you want him to. As long as he is loved, he is happy to stay home with you. However, he is an escape artist so requires a secure environment if you plan on leaving him alone for long periods of time. With his abandonment issues, he suffers from some separation anxiety. Casper wants to be a full time companion. He is loyal and eager to have a person to worship who will appreciate his dedication and love. ##1911461##
