Story
Do you like swimming on a hot summer day? Do you like cool, goofy dogs that will go anywhere with you and really know how to make you laugh? If so, Mickey is waiting for his forever family to find him! Born in 2024⁃ Neutered⁃ UTD on vaccines⁃ UTD on flea/ tick preventative⁃ Microchipped⁃ Leash trained- Dog/ Kid friendly Mickey was found on I20, and actually saved the life of his dear friend, Bruce. He ran in front of the truck searching for help for his friends, who grew up at the Stripes on I20 together according to the people in town. Bruce had been struck by a car a long time ago and began struggling to get around, and Mickey took it upon himself to run in front of oncoming traffic to lead a car, any car that would stop, to Bruce and Swan, who had waited patiently their whole lives for help. In my mind, Mickey became a hero that day, and we owe it to him to find the perfect family to live out the rest of his life, happy and carefree, swimming until the sun goes down. He would be most suitable in a home with 2.5-4 hours of mental stimulation per day and at least one other dog. If you’re looking for Mickey, you can find him in his pool or making his very own scenic pond with help from his water bowl! He loves to go on walks and would make a phenomenal hiking/ trail buddy or go on leisurely boat rides while you and your buddy's fish (please use a life jacket and do proper training before taking him on a boat as he has never been on one). Mickey gets along with any and everyone. He loves people, animals, and children! He is not cat tested. He is waiting ever so patiently to find his best friend!

Story
Are you looking for a sweet, energetic companion to become the center of your world? Look no farther than Lilly! - born in August of 2025 - kennel, leash & potty trained - Spayed - UTD on vaccines including rabies - UTD on flea/ tick preventative - Microchipped Lilly would be best suited for a single person or small family with an active lifestyle. She yearns for attention more often than not, and she definitely deserves to soak in all the love. She would make a great hiking companion, movie night bestie and partner in crime! Lilly is infatuated by humans. She wants to be involved in everything you’re doing, whether you’re taking a shower, watering plants in the yard, or just going for a leisurely drive to grab takeout! Lilly requires a slow introduction to other animals as she can be anxious, but she has been fine around other dogs so long as they’re properly introduced. Please keep this in mind if you have other animals in the home. Background checks and home checks are required to ensure the safety of the animals we worked so hard to save. Our adoption fee is $175. No children under 6 in the home please. Exceptions may be made for certified dog trainers with children. When adopting an animal, it takes them roughly 3 days to decompress, 3 weeks to learn the routine and 3 months to build trust with you. Extra patience is required and appreciated during this transition for the well-being of your new family member. Please feed your animals separately to minimize stress.

Story
Do you want a loving, shy and calm dog that will have you on the floor laughing hysterically? Fox may be your girl! Born August of 2025- Spayed- UTD on vaccines- UTD on flea/ tick prevention- Kennel trained- Microchipped- Dog/ Kid friendly Fox is the sister to Onyx and King, surviving hardships from birth until we were able to rescue them after weeks of desperation. Fox grew into a strange little dog and seems to always have her top front teeth showing as if she's smiling. It is absolutely adorable, but she has a little mischievous glimmer in her eye that makes you wonder if she's plotting to rob a candy store. Fox is calmer and smaller than her siblings and will be a medium sized dog when she is finished maturing. Fox needs a moderately active family to play with her and keep her mentally stimulated, but she would rather lay around all day if it's an option, so she's adaptable to what YOU need.
