Story
I rescued a dog from a kill shelter. The shelter owner, who I know personally, told me that she's a very good girl, but nobody wanted her because of her breed. Despite knowing that my living space isn't ideal for an active dog like her, I decided to take her in. She's quite shy around humans but has been warming up to me since I brought her home. She's very attached and likes to follow me around. She already knows basic commands like sit and go to her bed, but she's still young. The shelter told me she's only 9 months old, but I'm unsure if that's accurate. I'd like her to have a yard to run around in, but I can't provide that for her due to my environment. I also want her to be raised correctly so that the stereotype for pit bulls won't continue because she's nothing like those.
