As a dogo Argentina, about 20% of his breed are born deaf, and he was no exception. But the loss of hearing is no problem for him. His foster mom has taught him a few hand signals like; Sit, down, come, wait, shake and roll over! He is great with other dogs, cats, and loves children. He does very well on a leash and is almost completely crate trained. Being born deaf, he will need a lot of guidance with recall, especially because he loves to chase lizards and butterflies.I am currently in a foster home. If you are interested in adopting me, please speak with the front staff about the next steps!All of our dogs and cats are spayed/neutered, up to date with age appropriate vaccinations, heart worm or feleuk/FIV tested, fecal tested, rabies and tag, and microchipped before being placed in your home. Our adoption fee helps cover this cost.

"I am looking for a new home for my dog, Ghost. She is a friendly and affectionate dog who loves to play and cuddle. Ghost needs a home with a spacious backyard or an open field to run around freely and burn off her energy. She is great with kids and loves their company. However, Ghost does not do well with small dogs and can get aggressive towards them. Another thing to keep in mind is that Ghost suffers from skin allergies, which requires medication to keep under control. We bathe her every twice a month with allergy-free products to minimize her discomfort. Despite her allergies, Ghost is a healthy and active dog who enjoys going on walks and playing fetch. Unfortunately, Ghost recently bit my small dog, so I cannot keep her in my home any longer. I am looking for someone who can provide her with a loving and responsible forever home. If you think you can provide Ghost with the care and attention she needs, please let me know."

Story
Looking for an adopter to take in these two brothers mostly because I cannot financially take care of them any more. I'm in crazy debt now from all the treatments, surgeries, etc, and I cannot keep up with the money going into the allergy treatments. Spaghetti has chronic allergies and is a constant battle. The brothers are bonded so need to be adopted together. I need the adopter to understand they require a lot of time and finances with treating the allergies. They are both on allergy medications, prescription food and prescription shampoos. They are both sweet and playful. They have been around other dogs and play well with them. They can play rough with each other so I usually am cautious about them being around smaller dogs. They sometimes jump up and paw at you when they get excited so would be cautious with smaller children too. They do live with two children under 10 and love them but don't realize their size most times. No cats or smaller pets as they have a prey drive.
