As a dogo Argentina, about 20% of his breed are born deaf, and he was no exception. But the loss of hearing is no problem for him. His foster mom has taught him a few hand signals like; Sit, down, come, wait, shake and roll over! He is great with other dogs, cats, and loves children. He does very well on a leash and is almost completely crate trained. Being born deaf, he will need a lot of guidance with recall, especially because he loves to chase lizards and butterflies.I am currently in a foster home. If you are interested in adopting me, please speak with the front staff about the next steps!All of our dogs and cats are spayed/neutered, up to date with age appropriate vaccinations, heart worm or feleuk/FIV tested, fecal tested, rabies and tag, and microchipped before being placed in your home. My nickname is Big Baby! I am sweet and incredibly smart. I love to run and play and I also enjoy the occasional people snacks. A strange fact about me is I LOVE VET VISITS! I also have had lots of training so make sure to ask about my tricks. The only way to see my smile turn upside down is during bath time, but I do tolerate the ordeal... just not my favorite hobby. Overall, I am the perfect boy ready for my perfect family!
