- Loves going on walks and does best with a harness- Knows sit and likes treats, so he'd be a lot of fun to train - Has been very good for baths here in the shelter - Tends to be introverted around other dogs and may prefer one-on-one interactions or smaller groups of dog friends; may not be comfortable in places where there are a lot of dogs and may prefer to be the only dog in his home (dog intro required) - Looking for a teens-and-up home right now- We don't know his history with cats - May have allergies (more info at ARL) This pet qualifies for our 7-day Foster-to-Adopt program. If you're interested in fostering to adopt, please reach out to meetme@arl-iowa.org.All adoptable dogs and puppies are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations (rabies and DA2PPV as appropriate for their age)The ARL's shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most dogs we are only guessing at primary breed. His lineage boasts a long line of Dog-Father's, tough dogs out in the world whose business is their own. But, they are loyal, loving and strong characters to have around you.. He's a potty-trained and crate-trained gentleman, but he still has a penchant for chewing. He adores treats and toys, but can go through them quickly. Proper and slow introductions to other dogs are essential. Pacino would thrive best with older kids. Join the legacy and give Pacino the family he deserves.
