Story
Duke is one of those dogs who makes friends everywhere he goes. He loves everyone he meets and greets people with an easygoing, friendly attitude. Despite his powerful size, he’s a polite guy with nice leash manners and calm behavior in the car, which makes outings and road trips a breeze. At home, Duke is crate trained and does well in an Impact crate, but gets a whole room to himself because he has been spoiled just the right anount 😉 We’re not sure how he does in a wire crate, but he settles nicely in the setup he knows. Structure is key and he does best when expectations are clear. Because of his size and strength, Duke is looking for a home with no other pets and either older kids or no kids at all. He needs an adopter with Dogo Argentino experience, one who understands the breed’s strength, drive, and need for consistent handling. He is not a pit bull, but he is also not a labrador and punishing him for his breed traits as he has been in the past will do more harm than good. We are looking to set Duke up for long-term success. In the right home, Duke is a loving, loyal companion who wants to be part of your daily life and is a venti-sized velcro pup. If you’re experienced with Dogos and looking for a friendly, well-mannered adult dog ready for a fresh start, Duke may be the perfect match for you. Apply on www.pcpittiecommittee.com

Story
Hi! My name is Twiggy and I’m so excited that you’re reading my bio! I am a senior and I weigh fifty five pounds. I am a beagle boxer mix and I am the sweetest! I love to relax, it’s really my favorite thing to do and I’m super great at it. I spend a lot of time laying in my favorite chair. I am very low energy and I don’t really play. I do love walks when it’s not too hot. I also really like to go outside and check out the yard. I am housebroken and crate trained and I’m also really quiet. I like other dogs that are friendly and I don’t care about cats at all. November 4, 2024, 10:45 pm

Story
Desdemona is a people person! She loves to give you hugs and kisses and follow you all around the house. She is a medium energy girl and thrives with a balance of exercise and cuddle time. Desdemona originally came from a background where she didn't feel safe and did not have enough food. Because of this, she is leery of other animals and finds children frightening. At this time we are recommending she be adopted as an only pet to a home with no young children.   Desdemona was potty trained for the past several years, but has regressed a little bit upon losing her stable home and coming back into foster care. We've found she does best if you stand outside with her in the yard until she does her business or walk her on leash. Desi really is a very sweet, loving girl. She desperately needs stability and a person to call her own.February 18, 2025, 3:58 pm

Story
Hi, I’m George (Georgie)!🐶✨ Full-time good boy. Part-time toddler wrangler. I’m a professional napper, expert snack detector, and self-appointed neighborhood squirrel patrol. I live with my 2.5-year-old foster human—he’s sticky, loud, and a little clumsy, but I love him. We’re best friends. I help him eat things he drops (on purpose, I swear), and he helps me sneak onto the furniture. It’s a beautiful partnership. My hobbies include: 🦴 Chewing things that were definitely not meant for chewing 🚨 Barking at absolutely nothing 💤 Dramatic flops in high-traffic areas 💖 Following my tiny human like a shadow with a tail I take my job as emotional support floof very seriously. If you sit down, I will sit on you. If you’re eating, I will stare into your soul. And if you ask “Who’s a good boy?”—spoiler alert: it’s me. Local adoption fee is $250 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $550 (includes transport to your area)
