This amazing boy named Chick M has beat the odds. He was sitting in the euthanasia room in a TN shelter and was saved by a caring person who wanted to save his life. We believe he was named Chick M (for Chick Magnet) because he is so handsome and he's a real lover. We have had him in emergency boarding and need to move him to a family asap. Here is what the volunteers have said about him: Chick is so easy to walk on a leash, he sits on command and loves to play fetch as well. He loves men, women and kids. He is completely house trained and crate trained. He is always receptive to new things, he has soft eyes and always smiling. URGENT! Poor Sugar - at just around 2.5 y/o and 65 lbs., this gentle female Dogo Argentino has not had an easy life. She’s already been through two owners; with the most recent one, she was being kept in an outdoor pen with minimal socialization, and that owner sent her to the local over-crowded kill Shelter because the neighbor was trying to poison her (this was all in the south, of course). We can also see from her teats that she’s been subjected to having multiple litters of puppies. Then, we thought she had it forever, family who backed out on her at the last minute, leaving her completely homeless with nowhere to go. Despite all of that, she is SOOO sweet and affectionate! Now in a boarding home in the greater Philadelphia area, she desperately needs a long-term foster or adopter, preferably with a playful male dog her size or larger. She seems to love male dogs her size or bigger, but has not had a lot of experience with dogs that are smaller than her. And although she has not exhibited an extremely high prey drive when out on walks, she does seem very interested/curious about the resident cats so we can’t say with any level of confidence that she would be suitable for a home with Cats. My friend asked me to take care of this dog until he was able to take him back. Unfortunately, his apartment’s pet policy changed, and dogs are no longer allowed. My wife and I both have very busy schedules, and we can’t give him the time, training, exercise, and attention he deserves. I don’t think it’s fair for him to continue living like this. I want him to have the opportunity to be in a home where his needs can be fully met and where he can thrive.

Sugar is named after her sweet personality! A 2- to 3-year-old Terrier mix, she weighs 30 pounds. Sugar is a girl who pays attention to everything; just check out those ears of hers! According to her foster, sheâÂÂs sweet (We knew that!), active, playful and great to have around. She also really loves toys. (Just ask her!) What a doll baby she is!
