Meet Prince! Prince is a handsome, 1–2-year-old male Dogo Argentino weighing 70+ pounds of love and muscle. He came to us as a stray in Parma, and when no one claimed him, we knew this big guy deserved a chance to find his forever home.At the shelter, Prince has been a total gentleman. He’s a very big, friendly boy with a sweet and playful personality. He doesn’t seem fazed by the other shelter dogs and enjoys meeting people—sometimes a little too enthusiastically! Prince may jump up when he sees you and can be strong on leash, so he would benefit from basic obedience training and polite manners to help him be his best self.Because of his size, older children are preferred. Prince’s compatibility with cats and other dogs is currently unknown, so a meet-and-greet with any resident canine is required to ensure a good match.Prince is available through our foster-to-adopt program, allowing you to welcome him home while he completes his routine vetting, including neuter, vaccinations, microchipping, and heartworm testing.Ready to give this gentleman a throne of his own? Miss Patsy’s bio from her stay at the shelter: Miss Patsy has been a hit for various activities off-site, from hikes to exploring agility centers to hanging out at a volunteer's house. Patsy was graded as an A+ cuddle buddy, and you'll be tempted to spend all day petting her luscious rolls. She absolutely belongs stretched out on a plush spot on the couch! Patsy is also a silly, spunky, and playful gal who is full of life and entertaining charm. She enjoys her walks and play time. Patsy has also been playfully social with other dogs and she has a fun time wiggling around the yards with a favorite toy (and showing off her buns!) She's a great sport for trying out all sorts of new activities and adventures, and her earnestly enthusiastic, clumsy approach to life is sure to bring a smile to your face. When she's excited, she can get a little jumpy and exuberant and with this and her size, she would do best in a home with older kids and adults. It doesn't take her too much activity before she's ready to settle back down and snuggle. Patsy is also a smarty who knows sit and down, and she listens well. She also seems housebroken (no accidents) and rides well in the car. She definitely already has some manners down. Patsy has a lot of personality and she's ready to share it with a family.
