Story
Roxy is the most loving dog I have ever met. All she wants is love and attention. Roxy's energy level is typically low. Unless there's squirrels in sight! She loves chasing after squirrels in the back yard getting her afternoon 5k run in! Roxy loves a big comfortable bed to relax in all day. But she mainly loves to lay in bed with you! She doesn'do a whole lot, but she has a whole lot of love to offer you. An ideal home for Roxy would be a semi-quiet home with a big back yard. Roxy loves kids. She may need a patient introduction with cats, but typically doesn't worry about them after that initial sniff test. Roxy is completely house trained. She is crate trained and knows a few simple commands. Roxy walks well on the leash. Roxy is spayed and currently up to date on vaccines! I want to find her the best home possible!! I would love to stay in contact with her new owner!

Story
Hi, I’m Keaton! I was adopted as a puppy, but sadly, several years later, I found myself back at Pawmetto Lifeline. My previous family didn’t quite understand what I needed as I grew bigger—they kept me outside all the time, and I didn’t get to meet many people or other dogs. Because of that, I can be nervous around strangers and reactive when behind barriers. But once I’m out in the open and get to know you, I’m the sweetest, goofiest, most loving dog you’ll ever meet. The staff here has been so kind, and they believe in me—and I’m starting to believe in myself, too. I’m looking for a calm, quiet home with someone who’s patient and experienced. I didn’t get training in my first home, but I’m eager to learn and bond with someone who’ll show me what love really means. If you can give me the time and space I need to open up, I promise I’ll reward you with endless affection, loyalty, and a one-of-a-kind personality. All I want is a forever family who’ll make me part of their lives—for good this time.My adoption fee includes up-to-date vaccinations, dewormer, and heartworm/flea prevention. Plus, a microchip that is already registered to you! What more could you ask for?If my bio shows “Spay/Neutered” with a checkmark, I have already been altered; if you do not see this listed, my surgery is still scheduled and a refundable spay/neuter deposit will be required, which will be returned within 24 hours after my procedure is completed. If you`d like to meet me, please fill out an application on our website, PawmettoLifeline.org.Adoptions are by appointment Tuesday through Thursday. On Fridays and Saturdays, you’re welcome to walk in anytime between 10:00am and 5:00pm. Please note that we’re closed for adoptions on Sundays and Mondays.

Story
Hi, my name is Spot!I’m a one-of-a-kind pup here at Pawmetto Lifeline—and I’m looking for a very special person to share my heart with. You see, I’m deaf, which means I experience the world a little differently. Because of that, I need an experienced, patient adopter who understands the importance of structure, boundaries, and clear, consistent communication.I’m super food-motivated (seriously—treats are the way to my heart!), and I’ve got a goofy, loving side that shines when I’m comfortable. But I’ll be honest—I don’t warm up to strangers right away. I need a little time to get to know you and feel safe. Think of it like dating—we need a few visits before I’m ready to commit!I’d do best in a calm, adult-only home with no children and minimal chaos. Once I trust you, I’m incredibly loyal and affectionate. I’m just looking for someone who sees my potential and is willing to go slow with me.If you’re kind, experienced, and up for building a strong bond based on trust and love, I might just be the perfect pup for you. Could you be my person? My adoption fee includes up-to-date vaccinations, dewormer, and heartworm/flea prevention. If you`d like to meet me, please fill out an application on our website, PawmettoLifeline.org. Adoptions are BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. Please fill out the online application, and you will be contacted if you are approved and are a good fit for one of our adoptable pets.
