Story
Hi! I'm Paisley! I'm an approximately 4 year old, female, Dogo Argentino who weigh about 68lbs. I was surrendered on 08/30/2024 because my owners could no longer care for me. I am a sweet, little couch potato who loves to play but mostly loves to relax. I enjoy playing in water and playing with my furry friends! I am suggested in a home with kids 13 years old and up who respect my space! Due to the nature of my home setting before coming to the shelter, I will need someone with patience who as time to let me acclimate to a new, stable environment. I am crate trained and have potential to be house trained. My crate is my safe space and I do enjoy a nice, cozy bed to sleep on! I love toys and blankets and am very good about taking care of them. If you have another dog in the home, a meet and greet is encouraged to make sure we get along. I have been searching for my furr ever home for 90 days as of 11/28/2024 and am considered a Diamond Dog! My adoption fee is $75. I am spayed, current on my rabies vaccination, basic boosters, microchipped and heartworm negative. If you are interested in making me the newest member of your family, please visit https://rockwalladoptions.com/adoptfoster/adoption-application/ to fill out an application!  All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX. IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption. Story
Pearl is a treasure, but you won't have to crack open a clam to get her! Pearl is such a sweet, friendly girl. She loves people of all shapes and sizes. She gets along great with other big dogs, and wants to wrestle and rough house! She'll even chase a laser pointer! She's interested in, but not aggressive towards cats. She likes children, and gets very excited around them, so as long as an adult is supervising everyone will have a good time. She loves a walk or a game of catch just as much as she loves a snuggle. She also loves food! Her food, your food, the cat's food... She'll do anything for a treat! She can be your get-up-and-go buddy or your fellow couch potato. Her affable, easy-going nature would make her at home with just about any family, big or small. She's somehow able to snuggle up to you without feeling like she's being pushy about it - a head laid gently on your thigh, a paw just touching you as she stretches until she can find a chance to creep closer. Watching her eyes close in contentment as you gently pet her head while she drifts off to sleep will become a treasured pastime when she's your girl. Adopt Pearl today! You do not want to miss out on this dog, cat, and kid friendly pup! All Dallas Pets Alive adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon adoption. The standard minimum donation for dogs over six months to seven years is $200, puppies under six months is $250, dogs eight years and over are $100 unless specified otherwise.
