Story
Meet Okie, an American Pit Bull/Argentino Dogo mix that was picked up by police officers as a stray and brought to doggie jail at the Mesquite Animal Shelter on 11/4. This very sweet youngster is 8 months old, weighs 46 pounds and was spayed last week. She walks very well on a leash. She thoroughly enjoyed stretching her legs and checking out the smells in the shelter yard. He is well-behaved, lively and spunky. Okie has interesting markings on her ears that make her a standout. She loves treats, will sit for them and takes them gently. She is also friendly, has a sweet personality and is perfectly fine with being petted and loved on. She is sporting an attractive "Adopt me" scarf and is hoping to attract some attention to herself by someone who would provide her very own forever home with plenty of TLC, a life inside with her people and daily exercise, playtime and she would even be willing to work on learning some commands.

Story
Hello! This is Dodge! Now don't let his cropped ears deceive you. He is one of the sweetest babies you will ever meet. (That is if you meet him 😉) Dodge is a really sweet dog. He loves snuggling up really close and napping with you. Dodge loves to play fetch and loves running around at the speed of a bullet. He also loves a good treat here and there too. He tends to get along with FRIENDLY and or relaxed dogs. NOT AGGRESSIVE DOGS. The reason we have to give up Dodge is for a variety of reasons. We have another smaller dog that barks nonstop. That really stresses Dodge out. We also have cats but he has not met them and probably never will. So PLEASE be aware of that. We are also planning on moving. Our house is for sale (check it out 😉) I cannot stress enough about how much I hope he goes to a good, LOVING home. He's a really good dog and I am sad that he has to go. So I pray that someone who will give him the home he deserves contacts me! Adoption Fee: $50
