Story
Star came to us along with her litter of pups from an old man's house where she got very little attention much less food. He said she was a stray but was not able to care for her properly, thus a litter of unwanted pups! A pizza delivery guy alerted us to her plight and we came to help. She is very enthusiastic and active and loves to run! After she came to the rescue, she lived with Luke a 5 months old pup for a while and they loved to run and play. He has now been adopted. She is a great size- about 45 lbs and could be a great running partner. We think she could also be a great couch potato given some time. Her breed is a little unknown. She is small for a Boxer so we are thinking something smaller might be mixed in- maybe JR Terrier? We hope you will consider adding STAR to your family soon. She now walks on a leash and is learning some basic manners. If you would like to adopt this sweet furbaby, please complete our pre-qualification application at this link: https://bit.ly/2CCVFPV#AdoptDontShop #TBCAnimalRescue

Tramp and his Mom Lady were dumps once again. They survived because we saved them. Tramp is a very good boy. He has a sweet demeanor. He loves to go for walks and loves to play. We think he is part Boxer due to the brindle color. He is very affectionate and got rave reviews at the Vet's office. Tramp is about 45 lb and a great size for any home!If you would like to adopt this sweet furbaby, please complete our pre-qualification application at this link: https://bit.ly/2CCVFPV#AdoptDontShop #TBCAnimalRescue

Story
This cute little guy adopted us...just walked right in but was a little unsure of what to do. We opened a kennel and he was ready to relax. He loved the good food we offered and made himself at home. He is cute and a great size at about 40 lbs and very sweet. He wants to be sommebody's best friend. We do not know his breed other than being a medium sized dog and a beautiful golden color with darker markings. He learned the leash in one day and is ready to learn more at your house. If you would like to adopt this sweet furbaby, please complete our pre-qualification application at this link: https://bit.ly/2CCVFPV#AdoptDontShop #TBCAnimalRescue

Story
Ellie is a 7-year old brindle boxer, is spayed, crate trained, potty trained, and is micro-chipped. She loves to snuggle and has a very sweet and relaxed demeanor. Ellie can be a little shy and unsure at first, but warms up quickly.  She likes to gently paw her people on the leg while they're sitting down to get their attention for affection.  Ellie is also very good about staying off of furniture, couches, etc., except for the occasional misplaced paw for attention.   She's indifferent about water, does get distracted on a leash, and she'll usually follow a ball playing fetch but doesn't always bring it back. She is spayed, current on vaccines, microchipped and heartworm negative. She takes inexpensive thyroid medication daily. Ellie is good with kids and will likely need to be an only pet.  Her adoption fee is $200 and you can apply to meet her here:  Adoption Application - Legacy Humane SocietyWe do not have a facility to house the dogs in our program. They are all kept in foster homes until they are adopted. Therefore, if you are interested in adopting from LHS, please complete an online application at http://legacyhumanesociety.org/adoptfoster/adoption-application/ and we will contact you asap about the status of your application. Meet Red –  A True Soul Dog and Gentleman “Some dogs come into your life, and some dogs become your life. A soul dog is never just a pet—they are a part of you that finally made it home.” As his foster, I truly believe Red is one of those soul dogs, just looking for his true person. Red has faced challenges in life, but none of this was ever his fault. His previous family struggled to care for him consistently, yet he remained loyal, kind, and always there for them. He’s a gentle giant—loyal, smart, loving, and full of heart. Red is crate and house trained, walks perfectly on leash, knows sit and shake with both paws, rides beautifully in the car, and has excellent house manners. He is fantastic with kids, other dogs, and cats, he loves snuggles, Netflix marathons, calm walks when the weather is nice, and relaxing indoors on a cozy bed. Red is a true companion who simply loves being near you. Red deserves a home where he will be cherished as a full indoor family member, treated with love, patience, and stability. He is ready to give his whole heart to the family lucky enough to adopt him.
