Story
Star came to us along with her litter of pups from an old man's house where she got very little attention much less food. He said she was a stray but was not able to care for her properly, thus a litter of unwanted pups! A pizza delivery guy alerted us to her plight and we came to help. She is very enthusiastic and active and loves to run! After she came to the rescue, she lived with Luke a 5 months old pup for a while and they loved to run and play. He has now been adopted. She is a great size- about 45 lbs and could be a great running partner. We think she could also be a great couch potato given some time. Her breed is a little unknown. She is small for a Boxer so we are thinking something smaller might be mixed in- maybe JR Terrier? We hope you will consider adding STAR to your family soon. She now walks on a leash and is learning some basic manners. If you would like to adopt this sweet furbaby, please complete our pre-qualification application at this link: https://bit.ly/2CCVFPV#AdoptDontShop #TBCAnimalRescue

Story
This striking boy wandered on to the rescue property and right up to someone walking another dog. He was very social and wanted to join the party. We had hoped someone would claim him but as is so common, he was probably dumped. He's a sweet boy that wants love. He walks on a leash but is strong. He has lived with several girls but we have not tried him with another male. He is up to date on all vaccinations and is neutered. He's ready to go home with just the right family- hope that is you with a back yard and someone who is active and loving. If you would like to adopt this sweet furbaby, please complete our pre-qualification application at this link: https://bit.ly/2CCVFPV#AdoptDontShop #TBCAnimalRescue

Story
Lady and the Tramp were dumps once again. They survived a busy road and we saved them. Lady looks to have had at least 1 litter. She has a cute bob tail and has a sweet demeanor. We think Boxer due to the brindle coloring and the bob tail but is mixed with something else more than likely. If you would like to adopt this sweet furbaby, please complete our pre-qualification application at this link: https://bit.ly/2CCVFPV#AdoptDontShop #TBCAnimalRescue

Story
This cute little guy adopted us...just walked right in but was a little unsure of what to do. We opened a kennel and he was ready to relax. He loved the good food we offered and made himself at home. He is cute and a great size at about 40 lbs and very sweet. He wants to be sommebody's best friend. We do not know his breed other than being a medium sized dog and a beautiful golden color with darker markings. He learned the leash in one day and is ready to learn more at your house. If you would like to adopt this sweet furbaby, please complete our pre-qualification application at this link: https://bit.ly/2CCVFPV#AdoptDontShop #TBCAnimalRescue

Story
Hi! I'm Rocko! I'm an approximately 4 year old, male, Boxer/Bulldog mix who weighs approximately 30 to 40lbs. I was surrendered by my finder after exhausting efforts to find my owner. I am a sweet boy who enjoys the company of people. I am new to the shelter and am still coming out of my shell. I walk well on a leash and seem to do well in my kennel. I'm excited to find a loving home to can help me transform into the perfect family companion. I appear to have a pretty even temperament and love the company of people of all ages. If you have another pet in the home, a meet and greet is encouraged to make sure we get along. My adoption fee is $125 and that includes my neuter, microchip, rabies vaccination, basic boosters, and heartworm test. If you are interested in meeting with me, please visit https://rockwalladoptions.com/adoptfoster/adoption-application/ to fill out an application!  All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday 9 am to 6 pm and Saturdays 9 am to 5 pm. For questions, please call 972-771-7750 ext. 2 or email info@RockwallAdoptions.com. IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption. Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Puppy dog eyes overload! Max knows just how to melt your heart with his eyes. All love and sweetness from this boy. He is happy, well behaved and so smart. He loves to be outside and romp around then come inside and relax on his bed. He is very friendly and also a little shy at the same time. He prefers to just stay home and chill vs going out on car rides and adventures. He says leave me at home but don't be gone long because I'm just patiently waiting for you to come home. So...he's not one to go run and jump in the car when the door opens. House trained, dog friendly and lives with cats. His owner was admitted to assisted living and sweet Max was too big to make the move and thus found himself looking for new home that will love him for all the love he has to give! All Dallas Dog adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, micochipped, and up to date on vaccines upon finalizing adoption. Puppies adopted under the age of five months require a spay/neuter contract, and all dogs are required to be spayed by six months unless otherwise medically noted. Our dogs are currently on heartworm preventative. Puppies receive 3 to 4 rounds of vaccinations depending on their age, and adults receive two rounds unless they've been with us longer than a year, in which case they receive the booster update. You can complete an application or view all the adoptable pets on our website at www.dallasdog.org/adopt. Upon receiving your application, please allow us 2-3 business days to review and process.
