Story
Ladybug is a 2 year old, Dogo Argentino that was abandoned at her trainers house. Her family never came back for her. She was sent to the board and train for having a sensitive tummy, which a high quality kibble quickly fixed! Ladybug is sweet, playful with most pups, non-reactive on leash, and affectionate with humans. Despite being given up on by humans, she is so willing to trust and be a part of a family! She deserves the same commitment and love that she gives to humans, in return. If you can commit to loving this forever girl, please apply below or reach out with any additional questions.

Story
This sweet boy is a LOVER, he adores people, and exudes so much gratitude for each and every pet. His name is Hector Zeroni and he lives up to every part of the “happy hoppy goofy goober” portion of his name. Hector almost immediately became a rescue favorite, his goofy and bright personality brings joy everywhere he goes. Social and friendly, great with other dogs, easy on leash, is so smart, loving and friendly, he’s a dream dog. Hector is such a good boy! He shines in a lot of areas but he shines the most in his ability to make you laugh! When he’s super excited and happy (which he’s happy all the time) he does this full spin hops in the air like he’s a dancing goat. It’s the cutest and funniest thing ever! You’ll catch little glimpses of it in his video. We suspect Hector to be a Dogo Argentino, Pit Bull mix, around 3 years old. He is a rescue so her exact age and breed are unknown to us and cannot be guaranteed. He weighs in around 50 pounds. Fall in love with Hector here: https://youtu.be/aRX4bkcNN78?si=4DYZIPbcYcKsZv0V In his foster home and here at the rescue, Hector does not have indoor accidents. He’s great in the car, and has taken long drives while sharing the backseat with other pups. No anxiety, or barking from this boy- just a confident car rider looking forward to the destination. He is also very easy on leash and would make an excellent hiking, or camping buddy. He loves his outside time too, whether it’s enjoying some happy little zoomies or romping with other dogs, Hector is just happy to bask in the sunshine. Hector has a goofy and silly play style, with lots of hops, tail wags and chase. He will engage in those rumble and tumble moments with other dogs and also knows when it's time for a play break as well. He also isn't the type that is going to be overly pushy about wanting to play either. Hector is great when he is around other dogs that don't like to play. He's simply off doing his own thing or he's getting spoiled with affection from people. In a home, he would do best with an aloof medium energy female that enjoys playing and also appreciates those calmer moments as well. If you don't have other dogs, that's fine too! Hector doesn't need the company of other dogs to be his happy goofy self. He's that way all on his own and he'll love all the attention too. No kitties for Hector please, he was a little too interested in our house cat biggie. With humans, Hector is up for just about anything! This sweet boy has never met a stranger, and is so quick to give away his big pittie kisses. Hector will play tug of war, or catch toys in his mouth. He’s also happy to just hang out and get some pets. Indoors, Hector has excellent house manners. He loves the couch, and he’s soooo snuggly. Hector is deaf, which we suspect to be genetic- he is a white pittie, and deafness is common with white pitties. Hector’s foster family is learning how to teach him hand commands, though Hector is a rescue and lots of life experience that we don’t know much about. Hector seems to already know at least some hand signals, watch his video to see him “sit” on command! Because he is deaf, Hector won’t respond to a verbal “no,” but he does respond well to a squirt of water. Water guns or spray bottles will be your best friend as you teach Hector how to be your perfect dog. Hector is food-motivated and love-motivated, a VERY smart and eager-to-please boy that will pick up on training quickly. Hector’s deafness will be his super power in your home, Hector isn’t scared of thunderstorms or fireworks because he can’t hear them. He isn’t overwhelmed by loud, hectic households. If you’re someone who enjoys hosting, Hector is super social, friendly, and doesn’t mind hearing lots of voices or loud music! Sounds like a match made in heaven to me! Hector would do best in a feline-free home, but he’s not too picky about anything else! We believe he would do well in a single dog or multiple dog household, as a family dog or a companion to a single person. Small children may not be a good match for Hector, without hearing, dogs can easily be startled by hard touches from little ones. Hector may be best suited for a home with kids 10+, old enough to understand, and work around his deafness. Hector will be a perfect match for you if: you’ve recently taken up the tuba and aren’t very good yet, frequently host, only drive with loud music, or live in a busy city. Actually, Hector would LOVE living in an ultra-urban area- new friends on all of his walks, tons of scents to sniff and lots of things to do? Sign him up! If you’re looking for a sweet, smart boy with SO much love to give, Hector is your guy. This boy is SO good. We are willing to test this handsome little guy with anything you need us to in order to ensure he’s the perfect match for you. If you have any questions about him, please reach out to his adoption coordinator, who would be thrilled to have a discussion with you about this sweet angel boy. Meet Hector Zeroni in person in Friendswood, Texas, or virtually via video chat to get to know him better. Please email priya@threelittlepittiesrescue.org with any questions. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.) • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco  • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! Story
My name is Tinsel, and just like the sparkly stuff you drape on a tree, I'm here to brighten up any room I wiggle into. I'm a five-year-old boxer with a full-body shimmy that turns on the moment I see someone who might want to be my friend. I'm easy to leash, though I admit I can get a little enthusiastic on walks because I'm sure there's something exciting just around the corner. I love getting close for pets, hopping up for extra attention, and showing off my sit when tennis balls are involved. I'm an affectionate, happy girl who would shine in all kinds of homes, and I can't wait to find the family who wants a little Tinsel in their life year-round.*Qualifies for Pets for Patriots program*Qualifies for Senior-to-Senior program"Please email Adoptions@saltlakecounty.gov with questions Primary Color: Brown Brindle Secondary Color: White Weight: 76 Age: 5yrs 0mths 1wks
