This sweet boy is a LOVER, he adores people, and exudes so much gratitude for each and every pet. His name is Hector Zeroni and he lives up to every part of the “happy hoppy goofy goober” portion of his name. Hector almost immediately became a rescue favorite, his goofy and bright personality brings joy everywhere he goes. Social and friendly, great with other dogs, easy on leash, is so smart, loving and friendly, he’s a dream dog. Hector is such a good boy! He shines in a lot of areas but he shines the most in his ability to make you laugh! When he’s super excited and happy (which he’s happy all the time) he does this full spin hops in the air like he’s a dancing goat. It’s the cutest and funniest thing ever! You’ll catch little glimpses of it in his video. We suspect Hector to be a Dogo Argentino, Pit Bull mix, around 3 years old. He is a rescue so her exact age and breed are unknown to us and cannot be guaranteed. He weighs in around 50 pounds. He’s great in the car, and has taken long drives while sharing the backseat with other pups. No anxiety, or barking from this boy- just a confident car rider looking forward to the destination. He loves his outside time too, whether it’s enjoying some happy little zoomies or romping with other dogs, Hector is just happy to bask in the sunshine. Hector has a goofy and silly play style, with lots of hops, tail wags and chase. He will engage in those rumble and tumble moments with other dogs and also knows when it's time for a play break as well. He also isn't the type that is going to be overly pushy about wanting to play either. Hector is great when he is around other dogs that don't like to play. He's simply off doing his own thing or he's getting spoiled with affection from people. Ladybug is a 2 year old, Dogo Argentino that was abandoned at her trainers house. Her family never came back for her. She was sent to the board and train for having a sensitive tummy, which a high quality kibble quickly fixed! Ladybug is sweet, playful with most pups, non-reactive on leash, and affectionate with humans. Despite being given up on by humans, she is so willing to trust and be a part of a family! Mina is a sweet dog, and we love her very much. She is about 10 years old. We got her from the humane society when she was 4, and she has always had some minor behavioral issues. She loves to sleep, but also enjoys being very active. She does not like other dogs or children. We are heartbroken to have to give her up, but she has started to become aggressive towards our toddler. A few weeks ago, she had a particularly stressful day and attacked our child, which is why we can no longer keep her in our house. If you don't have any children or other pets, Mina is an excellent companion.

Meet Sockhop! The cutest kid in town with the best playful energy! He’s a growing boy and is motivated to learn all of the things! He is getting trained in his foster home to be the bestest friend ever! Did someone say crate trained?? Oh yeah! He is a stylish guy with socks on all 4 feet and rocks a bandana like no other! He is full of love and ready for his future family to find him! We believe Sockhop is a boxer mix around 6 months old and weighs approximately 35 pounds. He still has some room to grow and is sporting the best lanky limbs in this phase! Due to him being a rescue, age and breed cannot be guaranteed. *Fostered in Lowell, MA* Tootsie Pop is sweeter than her namesake and twice as cute! We believe Tootsie is a Black Lab, Boxer mix, though she is a rescue so these are simply our best guesses. Tootsie is estimated to be around a year old and weighs in at a slight 48 pounds, the perfect size for lap sitting. She loves toys, other dogs, people, and the pool! Her love of water must be from those black lab genes we see! Tootsie goes on daily walks with ease thanks to her amazing leash skills. She does well with everyone in the house- playful with the pups that wish to play, and respectful and kind toward the grumpier, older pups that wish for peace. Here at the rescue, she did wonderfully with the other dogs she met. Her joyful energy even got a rarely playful long-stay-rescue-dog to play chase with her! In her forever home, we think a goofy male would be the best doggy-sibling match for her. Her foster mom brags that she is crate trained and seems to be fully potty trained- she does not have accidents indoors. She does well in her crate and will go in for a little treat! Tootsie is super smart, she knows “sit” and she’s picking up on leash training quickly. She will need a confident leash walking human to teach her the ropes, she’s new to the whole “well loved dog” thing, but eager and excited to learn. A huge fan of the finer things in life, Tootsie loves all kinds of toys, no matter the shape size or color! Nylabones, stuffies, chews- you name it! She is a tug-of-war queen, as she should! As if she couldn’t get any better, she even shares her toys well with the other dogs in the home too. “Sharing is caring!” Says tootsie! While we haven’t seen Tootsie with kids just yet, we think she would be an amazing family dog for a home with kids 10+. She loves going places with her foster family, and has met kids at events and done well with them. From the moment you meet her, Tootsie is such a warm and friendly pup with so much love to give. She is so confident in new places, and always ready for the next adventure- now she’s ready for her forever home. We think Tootsie would do best in a house over an apartment.
