Story
Missy is an outgoing senior lady who sadly came to the SPCA when her previous guardian could no longer care for her. She's a friendly, regal lady who loves attention and will flop at your feet waiting for pets and love to be bestowed on her royal personage. She enjoys lazy naps and yummy snacks, maybe a little too much, since she is overweight. She will benefit from a good quality diet to help her trim down and get her feminine figure back. A good diet will also be important in her senior years to help keep her as healthy as possible. Missy doesn't seem to be a fan of other cats so may do best as the only animal in the home as she seems to be used to being by herself with her person. We're not sure if she's been around children but she may be fine with older kids who are cat savvy and know how to handle a senior cat. Missy enjoys attention and getting brushed. An adopter should be prepared to brush her regularly to help keep her longer coat in tip top shape as it can be hard for senior cats to full groom themselves as easily. Overall Missy is a lovely lady who will make a wonderful loving companion. Could it be you?*MISSY IS CURRENTLY AWAITING A DENTAL SURGERY AND NOT ABLE TO OFFICIALLY BE ADOPTED JUST YET. Story
Say Hello to Holly! This sweet senior lady came to us after her owner passed away and is looking for a second chance at a fur-ever home! Holly is a tender-hearted senior cat whose shy nature makes her most comfortable in a quiet, predictable home where she can take her time to feel safe. After her previous elderly owner passed away, Holly was pretty sad to find herself in unfamiliar surroundings but is adjusting and letting her purrs and sweet personality start to come out Though she startles easily, her gentle sweetness shines through in the soft ways she seeks connection, often expressing her affection with unexpectedly loud, rumbling purrs once she trusts you. Holly's age and timid temperament mean she needs a bit of extra support, especially with grooming-she appreciates a patient hand to help keep her coat clean and comfortable. With kindness, routine, and a calm environment, Holly blossoms into a devoted, loving companion who just wants to feel secure and cared for.*HOLLY IS CURRENTLY RECOVERING FROM A DENTAL SURGERY AND NOT ABLE TO OFFICIALLY BE ADOPTED JUST YET.
