It breaks my heart to write this, but i am looking to rehome my 1-year-old orange male cat. I have had him since he was a kitten. My son found him in a storm drain. I was fostering and I love him very much, but he is extremely active and needs more stimulation and space than I can provide. He is healthy, playful, curious, and full of personality. He loves to chase toys, explore. He would do best in a home with an experienced cat owner who understands young, high-energy cats possibly with another playful cat to keep him company. He is neutered, litter-trained, and eats well. I provide his favorite toys and food to help with the transition. Meester came to me approximately 6 months ago. He belonged to a neighbor who didn't want him anymore. I started feeding him because I couldn't see allowing him to go hungry. He is very sweet and lovable. He is 3 years old and in good health. He is up to date on his shots, including rabies. Was given a clean bill of health from the vet. Meester is primarily an outside cat. However, he does like to come inside and take a nap. Purrfect pet for a family that loves cats. Love him to pieces but I can no longer have him where I'm at.

With her luxurious black and white fur and brilliant green eyes, Oakland is as beautiful as she is resilient! She was rescued in Oakland, CA at just 7 weeks old. She was born with deformities to all four legs: her front legs were able to be corrected as a kitten, leaving the back two that now point in unique directions, but that doesn’t slow her down for a second! With proper medical care and a ton of love and time to grow, she has become a funny, strong, and independent girl. She does take a moment to get used to new faces–although she doesn’t love to be held and carried around, she does love attention from people and other cats! For Oakland to have a full life at home with you, she needs you to continue her monthly Solensia injections and weekly Adequan injections for her arthritis in her back legs, and she needs cat trees in order to climb, but she is otherwise completely independent! Hi, I’m Angelique. My three littermates and I were rescued from the street in Seal Beach when we were about two months old. We were all very scared as we hadn’t been around people before. At first, we were considered feral, but we were sent to a foster home and calmed down quite a bit. My foster home had other kittens, big cats, and dogs. I loved the big cats and was fine with the kittens, but the dogs scared me. Two of our sibs were adopted by an SBACC volunteer. My sister, Abbie, and I are still waiting for our homes. I’m a shy girl who gets scared easily, and I don’t welcome pets or being picked up. Hi, I’m Annie. I was rescued from the Seal Beach Jetty along with my friend Mercedes way back in 2015. We both went to a foster home for a couple of months and slowly learned to trust humans. Then we came back to SBACC and after a while, we were both adopted by a volunteer. Sadly, Mercedes crossed over the Rainbow Bridge a while ago and I lost my home because my adopter couldn't interact with me. I am very shy and don't allow petting or handling. I'm comfortable here and wouldn’t mind living out my senior years where I'm loved and cared for by a wonderful team of volunteers and staff. Hi, I’m Margaret Mary. I was rescued from someone’s porch along with my five five-day-old kittens. I came to SBACC and then went to a foster home but was so protective of my kittens that I wouldn’t let my foster Mom near them or me. So we all came back to SBACC and I nursed and raised my kittens in a special back room at the shelter. Once the kittens were eating on their own they went to a foster home and I stayed at the shelter to get ready for my forever home. I’m a very friendly girl and the people who originally found me said I would sit on their laps and eat from their hands. I’m now ready to do that with my forever family. One more thing I should tell you. I’m FIV+. It’s not that big a deal. Despite what many people think, cats with FIV can live long, healthy lives and it’s not contagious and can’t be transmitted from cat to cat by sharing food, water, or litter boxes. Roku is a 3-year-old male cat. He is a mix of Main Coon and something else, of which I am not sure. He is use to being around other male cats, but not dogs. He is mainly quiet and boisterous at times. Overall he is well mannered. He recently moved from a northern state to California. I became acquainted with Roku during this time. Roku belonged to a family member. He seems to have adjusted well. The young family he lived with can't take care of him anymore as they are expecting an addition to their family quite soon. It appears the owners did the best they could with Roku. Almost forgot to talk about his eating habits. He eats twice a day. He doesn't have a favorite toy.

I adopted Ada through a friend and she’s been my little angel ever since. She is shy but once she is warmed up to you, she is very cuddly and loves getting pets. She would do best in a house with other chill and non aggressive cats. She would do best without dogs but had lived with big and small dogs before and tolerates.
