Story
Hi Michiana followers, my name is Trixy. The humans will tell you that I have the prettiest face and the most beautiful long fur. The humans will also tell you how proud of me they are. Let me tell you why... When I arrived at the shelter in March, I was very pregnant. Luckily, I was able to find a foster home who allowed me to birth and raise my babies in a stress-free environment. I loved my babies and was such a good momma to them! I made sure they found their own families and were going to be loved. Then it was my turn to focus on finding a family. The shelter has been a scary place for me. Even though the humans here tell me that I am safe and loved, it wasn't easy for me to understand. I felt safest hanging out in my kitty hut. I always enjoyed kitty treats and started to let the humans know how much I like tasty treats and catnip. I made the humans' day recently when I started to adventure out of my kitty hut. I also am welcoming pets, chin scratches, and affection. They were thrilled to see me start to be comfortable. I'm becoming more relaxed every day! I am a quiet and calm girl and would do best in a quiet and calm home. If you know someone who may live alone ,or a couple who needs a pretty kitty, or someone who needs a best friend, that sounds like a role that I could fill. Please be patient with me. I will take time to understand your home and how I fit there. My human friends will tell you how special it has been to see me learn to trust them. They say that I am the main reason why they do what they do -- helping scared pets come out of their shells and show them that they can trust people and learn that they are loved. I'm about one and a half years old and I'm spayed. Love, Trixy.

Story
Okay, we think the best thing for you to do is to come by the shelter and meet Allie for yourself because even if we try to describe how cute and loving she is, we just won't do her justice! Allie will curl under her blanket and we thought she was going to be terrified but nope! As soon as we started petting her, this girl couldn't get enough attention! She purrs loudly and nuzzles as close as she can. Ugh, she is just too cute. In her previous home, Allie did great with other furry friends! Older kiddos would probably make her most comfortable. Lots of commotion and activity isn't her vibe. She is more on the chill side! We could absolutely see her hopping right next to you on the recliner to snuggle while you read a book or catch up on a show. She loves toys that have bells in them and is showing lots of interest in feathery toys, too. We love Allie so much. Come adopt her! She is just around three years old and is spayed.

Story
Pluto is a quiet and shy cat who prefers a calm and stable environment. He may take some time to warm up to new people and new surroundings, so it's important to provide him with a safe and secure space where he can retreat and feel comfortable. Pluto would do best in a home without young children or a lot of noise and activity. Although Pluto may be shy and reserved, he can still make a loving and loyal companion for an adult or couple who is looking for a quiet and low-key cat.
