Story
Citrine, named after a crystal said to have protective qualities, has been the rock of her feline family even with eight kittens! According to her foster mom, shes been raising them like a champ while still managing to squeeze in time with her people. She has worked tirelessly to keep her kittens fed, warm and clean. When she knows they are safe, she comes out to visit her humans and loves to get some much-deserved pets and scratches on her luxurious, long coat. She even makes the most unique chirping noises and gives harmless little love nips to gettheir attention! Like the gem, Citrine can brighten your day, says her foster mom, and certainly provide protection. Now that shes ready to retire from motherhood, can Citrine shine by your side? - Buzz.

Story
When a community member found Cottonelle tiny and alone in a barn even hours after waiting for the mama cat to return she brought her to a Whiskers volunteer for help. Cottonelle barely had her eyes open, yet snuggled and purred in the palm of another volunteers hand for an hour straight while emergency care was found! Now in a foster home with her foster sister, Charmin, she is fearless and curious about everything! Cottonelles favorite routine is to chase balls until its nap time on her preferred cushion or in an obliging humans arms. She loves being held like a baby and having her nose and forehead stroked, says her foster mom. She just closes her eyes and purrs in bliss. Sometimes her little tongue sticks out a tiny bit too. CanCottonelle be your ultra soft companion? - Buzz.

Story
If you can picture this sweet little kitten stuck in a storm drain, you know why one of our volunteers sprang into action to save her! Charmin was in pretty rough shape, says her foster mom. Even safe and comfortable in her foster home, at first she was really shy and would hiss at me and cower each time I came in our cat room. But with a little time and patience, all that was flushed away. Now, shes a sweet little purr-er who likes to come rub against my legs when she wants to be held and petted. Charmin also enjoys snoozing adorably in her kitten cave and zipping all over in hot pursuit of a crinkly ball. Her foster mom thinks she would do well in nearly any loving home. You cant help but (gently) squeeze this Charmin! - Buzz.
