Story
Meet Marble!Don't let his resting grump face fool you; he's actually a pretty mellow guy! He enjoys the simple things in life, from food to watching out his window. He enjoys gentle attention and slow movements; Marble was originally a stray so we don't know if he has previously been around other animals. Fast and loud noises do scare him, so a home without young children would be best!Interested in this handsome floof? Swing on down to KVHS during available adoption hours!

Story
Meet Kitten! He's not a kitten, but he is handsome! He's vocal and enjoys hissing; that is just how he gets attention. Yes, it's weird. He LOVES cheek scratches and will gladly throw himself into them! Kitten can be a bit shy to warm up, he's on the more timid/laid back side, and enjoys his space. KVHS believes he'd do best in a home with children over the age of 5, and ones who respect his boundaries! Kittens previous owner said that he does well with other animals!Important note:Kitten is on a prescription C/D diet, this helps prevent crystals from forming in his urine, which could lead to blockages. He MUST remain on this diet, that you can get through your vet. He has blocked previously and had surgery! This dude should go to a home with someone who has a consistent vet/a good relationship with their vet.Interested or any questions about Kitten? Swing on down or give us a call!

Meet Baymax! He might be a little timid at first, and he does take time to warm up, but once you befriend him he's a sweet, mellow, and quiet guy! We believe Baymax would do well with more social/outgoing kitty to follow around; he has previously lived with cats! We do not know how he with dogs, though. Baymax would love his home to have older children who understand shy cats/respect his boundaries!Interested in Baymax? Swing on down to KVHS during available adoption hours!

I accepted Maggie as a surrender in 2016. She is 12. She is an outdoor cat that loves people. She is black with a white tie. She really bonds with people. My heart is broken that I have to give her up to move into an apartment. Never owned a cat before this, but she has changed me. I want her to have a loving home.

Story
Pebbles is a great cat! Very loving when he wants to be, always playful otherwise. Can get a bit rough, especially when playing with other cats so I recommend he be the only animal. Pebbles has a very hard time with change. We are currently expecting a new baby and have started preparing for that, moving in new furniture and rearranging the house. Unfortunately Pebbles has not taken well to this and has peed a few times on our clothes and some other stuff. Pebbles needs a home that won't change often, and where he gets lots of attention. He loves to lay in your lap and give himself baths, and give you baths as well, he will pick you as long as you let him. Please be serious if you intend to adopt him. We love him very much and have tried everything we can think of. Including a few recommendations from the vet, diet changes, calming meds and litter changes. We only wish the best for him so he is free to a loving home.

Meet Ziploc, a very sweet and quiet girl. She is looking for a home where she can stay indoors only. She isn't good with cats, but seems ok with calm dogs and respectful kids. She loves looking out windows, sitting up high in cat trees, and lots of catnip toys. Ziploc is on Purina Proplan Veterinary Diets EN dry and wet food for a very sensitive stomach and will most likely have to stay on this food for life. Ziploc is also unfortunately declawed which can cause discomfort and arthritis in cats. If you are interested in adopting Ziploc, please stop by to see her.
