Story
I am a very friendly and sweet girl.  I love to snuggle and get petted by my foster dad, not as much by foster mom.  MOL  I must be a daddy's girl but I do sleep in moms room at night. I will run to greet you when you call me or come home.  I am still a bit aloof at times but who isn't.  I know in time I will be more comfortable with more humans.  I do get along great with all the other cats in my foster home.  I am still learning about this playing thing too but I do love watching the birds and squirrels outside.  I was only a kitten found roaming but I'm not wild I just need someone to teach me how to be a cat.  ##1737957##

Story
Kevin may look like a total stud-muffin but he's actually a very sweet (and nervous) gentleman. He's definitely a creature of habit and doesn't handle change with enthusiasm. Honestly, he's a bit of a mystery. Being held? Definitely not cool. Chin scratches? At his grace. Napping at least 80% of the time in a cupboard? Absolutely. Oddly enough, Kevin does seem to enjoy sleeping with his foster parents at night though. Again, he's a mystery. Probably even to himself. This handsome man may be set in his ways, but Kevin is also very well behaved. He's never been aggressive towards cats or dogs, never had litter box or scratching issues, and he's too lazy to wake you up in the middle of the night with the zoomies. Kevvy boy really just wants a dark, quiet place to nap and some pets every now and then. For being such a lazy bones, Kevin is a little high maintenance. He absolutely MUST be in a quiet and calm home with an experienced owner. Kevin could thrive with another cat but it would have to be the right cat. This gentle giant absolutely HATES conflict. A cat that is happy leaving him alone, but also won't overreact if they run into each other is 100% necessary. He's around 7 so a young and energetic cat could overwhelm him and a more overtly assertive cat will scare him. Overall, Kevvy boy is just a meek baby with a sensitive disposition. But even the most high maintenance and shy cats need a place to nap away their golden years in peace. ##1955313##

Story
Hello, I am very sadly rehoming my cat Chicken. Chicken is a very social cat who loves attention and will be around your feet all day. He is your typical orange cat who is slightly overweight but one of the most amazing cats I have had. Unfortunately he has been having behavioral issues in our home for the past two years and we have tried everything to stop him from pooping outside of the litter box. However our vet and us have come to the conclusion he is doing it because of the other animals in our house. Although he enjoys the company of his other cat friend and dogs who are very calm with him, he has been consistently pooping right outside the litter box. He will not stop marking outside of the litter box in our house. He is three years old, spayed, with no health complications (he was just seen by the vet last month). We believe he is anxious around dogs even though he does not hide around them. He would do best in a home without dogs.

Tongs is a little bit timid, so he would probably do better in a toddler free home. He's an absolute sweetheart though. He loves other kitties and cuddles. Such a sweet baby.

Story
Meet Ghost. He is currently shaved due to him being outdoors and being matted, but typically this handsome boy has a beautiful longhair black coat which will grow back in. Ghost does do best in an fully outdoor home or mostly outdoor home. He prefers to be outside and if he isn't outside, he will urinate outside the litter box. He is used to living outside and does great outdoors. He is a friendly and social cat.  Because we just want to find Ghost a good outdoor home rather than have to say goodbye to him due to his behavioral concerns, his adoption fee is sponsored and is $0. He is neutered, current on vaccines, and is negative on fecal parasites. He is a senior cat and in the past few years we did complete bloodwork panels on him and they were normal. As far as we can tell, he is a healthy boy and we hope he can find a peaceful home to live out the rest of his years.  The $0 adoption fee (  payable by cash or check only  ) includes: spay/neuter; vaccinations; senior bloodwork, microchip; fecal testing w/ giardia, flea prevention, and FIV/FeLV testing. Our adoption application may be found by going to: www.headinhomerescue.org; then click on the link to the adoption application. Cats for adoption may be seen by appointment only following an approved application.  Please note: while we welcome out of state applications, we do not ship our animals and require adopters to come to Holland to finalize any adoption. Story
Meet Raven! Raven is a 10-month-old kitten who's looking for the next chapter in her story! She appears social but is slightly cautious of new people and places. She may need a few days to adjust to her new space as these new areas can be overstimulating for her. She enjoys people's attention but isn't confident when doing so and can get overstimulated from that. She's a speedy girl and does best with head pets during the first few days until she gets comfortable. Raven would do best in a home with older, respectful kids. She has no history of living with other animals.
