Story
Toby is a 12 year old (born 8/1/2013) long-haired boy who was rescued as a young kitten when his pregnant mom showed up as a stray in the neighborhood. He joined the home of his big brother Freddie who he must be adopted with. They are great friends and enjoy cuddling (especially in the winter) and they play like brothers do. They also groom each other – mostly Freddie grooming Toby while he soaks it all in. They are front declawed and must be indoor only. Toby gets a lion cut once a year in the spring and he tolerates the cut so much that he seems to get extra playful when he comes back from getting his hair cut and he likes to show off. Regular brushing will be important for Toby in particular and fortunately both boys enjoy being brushed which is also a nice bonding time. Toby is very social and will happily jump up onto an open and available lap. He always wants to be part of the action and enjoys greeting new people. Just like his brother, he loves belly rubs and being petted. Because he is more social, he is more comfortable around children than his brother. He is a very playful cat and loves chasing anything that’s on a string. In his previous family’s words, Toby is an outgoing social butterfly with “dog-like” charm who follows you around the house to make sure that he isn’t missing any action. Toby and Freddie will go to their new home with several items that they enjoy and that will make their transition smooth. These beautiful bonded brothers will thrive in a calm, loving home where they can continue to get all the snuggles and love they have known for all their lives. Ask us about these senior boys today!

Story
Debbie J. is a two year old calico who is shy with new people and in new places. She spends much of her day hiding in her bed and can be a little wary of hands, often moving away when offered pets or treats. Debbie J. has no known history with other animals or children and would do best in a calm, patient home where she can feel safe and gain confidence at her own pace.

Story
Leia is 5 years old, up to date on shots and really needing more love than we are able to provide anymore. Leia needs a home with zero children in it due to her anxiety around them, which is our reason for rehoming. She has primarily lived in our basement, away from our children for at least the last year, other than when they are not home or are sleeping (our son is 3.5 and has never touched her, let alone seen her more than a handful of times, and I'm pretty sure our youngest child doesn't even know we have more than one cat). She has a strong bond with our other cat, Luke, which makes me believe she would do well in a home with other cats but please no dogs. I would much rather find her a loving home than take her to a shelter, so we will be asking for a small rehoming fee to ensure she goes to the right home. Please feel free to message me with any questions you have. We are heartbroken and this is not the route we wanted to take and did try alternative methods prior to this one.
