Story
Hello, I'm Chumlette. I'm a bit timid, you see. Loud noises startle me, and quick movements make me scurry. I prefer quiet corners, where I can watch the world from a safe distance. Yet, I yearn for companionship. I dream of a patient human who'll understand my need for space, yet gently persist in winning my trust. I'm no kitten, I've seen a few things, lived a few lives. But I believe I still have a lot of love to give, if given the chance. Would you be the one to offer me that chance? To provide a loving, calm home where I can come out of my shell at my own pace? Adopting me won't just give me a new lease on life, it will also show you the rewarding journey of earning a shy cat's trust and love. Chumlette’s approximate date of birth is 2018. --- All of our cats/kittens are spayed or neutered, tested for FeLV/FIV, vaccinated against Distemper, and treated for fleas and other parasites. --- Adoption center is located at 7962 CLYDE PARK SW, BYRON CENTER MI 49315. Story
Hello, I'm Prism, a little kitten with a big heart. I'm a bit shy, you see. The world is so vast and I'm still learning about it. I love quiet corners where I can watch the world unfold. I might not be the first to greet you, but give me some time and I'll warm up to you. I enjoy gentle strokes and soft whispers. Toys are my favorite. They are just so entertaining! I'm looking for a forever home where I can feel safe and loved. A place that allows me time to show my true self. Adopt me and let's discover life's wonders together. I was born in the spring of 2024. I enjoy my bunk-mates Porter and Pazia! We love to be together, so come meet us. --- All of our cats/kittens are spayed or neutered, tested for FeLV/FIV, vaccinated against Distemper, and treated for fleas and other parasites. --- Adoption center is located at 7962 CLYDE PARK SW, BYRON CENTER MI 49315. Story
Shaggy showed up in the yard of a 90 year old woman who tends neighborhood cats. She contacted FOF because this cat was a bloody mess. Turns out Shaggy had a chip that was traced to a NY address and all 3 numbers associated with the chip were invalid. But we were able to find out her actual age is 12 years (estimated date of birth 2012). So sadly at some point Shaggy was failed by her people. Well that stops here! Shaggy had dental disease, an ear polyp, along with a double ear infection. This was all treated and she is good as new. Shaggy is living her best days in foster but would love a forever home. She has tons of love to give. She is easy to hold and cuddle and loves a good brushing. Shaggy just needs a quiet home to live her best years in. Come meet Shaggy! --- All of our cats/kittens are spayed or neutered, tested for FeLV/FIV, vaccinated against Distemper, and treated for fleas and other parasites.
