Story
Naomi is an adult, spayed female cat, probably born in 2022. She's quiet and gentle and keeps to herself in her colony room.  She doesn't hide, so she's not scared, just very self-contained.  She was spayed prior to arrival, so she was likely an owned cat or kitten at some point.  She was very matted when she arrived at the pound, so they shaved her - right now, she's very velvety and soft, but eventually she will grow and glamorous muted tortioseshell coat and be a stunning beauty.  May 6, 2024, 11:30 pm

Story
Roger is a neutered male cat, probably born in fall 2022.  He is a total babe...or a total baby, depending on how you view things.  Roger lives to be held and hugged.  If you are within arms-length of him, he will try to climb on you.  He loves to wrap his paws around your neck and be scooped up.  He is pretty light weight so you can easily carry him with one arm under his back legs, while her courteously counter-balances his weight on your neck.  And he can hang on tightly, even if you bend over, so don't worry about dropping him.  He's a great work out buddy, adding an extra 10 pounds to your daily strength training routine and he will chirp and whisper encouragement in your ear.  He's a little timid around larger cats and those with big personalities, but he seems to do well with other even tempered males.  Please come meet Roger.  He needs a hug. Update: Roger is staying with a foster mom for a bit because the shelter was too stimulating for him and he needs one-on-one time to feel better.May 6, 2024, 11:30 pm

Story
Ashes is a very beautiful and playful cat. My fiance's cats gave birth to 8 cats and we were able to find homes for a couple however she needs a new home. I held her when she was brand new and watched her grow up. Unfortunately she has become a bully to other cats in the house occasionally when she has her moments. She likes to cuddle with you and be pet. She gets a bit to excited when being pet sometimes causing her to nip and scratch. She is a sweetheart when she is by herself. She is kinda clumsy and likes to knock things down off the headboard at night to sit there and watch you sleep sometimes. If it wasn't for her bullying the others I wouldn't be getting rid of her. She is very soft and has a fluffy tail. I brush and clean her ears weekly but I would like her to have a home where she is the main attraction and with all the attention. She is very skittish with new people. She will occasionally tap you when walk down stairs. I would really like for her to have a good home.
