Story
Naomi is an adult, spayed female cat, probably born in 2022. She's quiet and gentle and keeps to herself in her colony room.  She doesn't hide, so she's not scared, just very self-contained.  She was spayed prior to arrival, so she was likely an owned cat or kitten at some point.  She was very matted when she arrived at the pound, so they shaved her - right now, she's very velvety and soft, but eventually she will grow and glamorous muted tortioseshell coat and be a stunning beauty.  July 12, 2024, 7:40 pm

Story
Jaycee is a super fluffy little black/brown and white kitty with the cutest white whiskers! She is 12 weeks old and the more social out of her siblings. She is pretty laid back but still likes to run around and chase herself through cat tunnels. She enjoys laying in the sun on her cat tree and getting pets. Jaycee is housetrained, UTD on vaccines, and does well with other kitties.

Story
Rumpleteaser is an adult, spayed female cat, probably born spring or summer 2023. She arrived with Mungojerry, but we don't know their exact relationship.  They are brand new and still decompressing from the pound and getting fixed.  We do know that Rumpleteaser can be spicy toward Mungo, so they living in separate apartments for now.  We will update when they get more comfortable.July 12, 2024, 7:40 pm

Story
Cash is an adult, neutered male cat, probably born in 2022.  He's a solid kitty but looks bigger than he is because he has a fluffy, fly-away long coat.  He's quite friendly, but lazy, lazy, lazy.  The kind of guy that doesn't come to the door of his apartment but just hollers "C'mon in" from the back of the house.  He likes being petted, but not enough to get out of bed....but just when you think he doesn't care and stop petting him, he burps out the tiniest, whiny-est, high-pitched little "PRRRP" and bumps your hand to keep petting him.  If you take Cash home, be prepared to share your pillow and pet him every night until you both fall asleep.  That would suit Cash just fine.July 12, 2024, 7:40 pm

Story
James is an adult, neutered male cat, probably born in 2021.  He arrived with his sister/friend Jolynn. He's a handsome light orange long-hair with a sweet face and gentle disposition. He likes to hang back and watch people when they enter the room, but if someone opens his apartment door, he will come out and socialize.  He doesn't seem fazed by having multiple cats in his apartment complex near him, so we hope that he can adjust to communal living without upset. He had to have some mats shaved and combed out at the vet, and they said he was a very nice boy for his spa treatment.  He will continue to need help caring for his coat as he has A LOT of coat and a very small tongue.July 12, 2024, 7:40 pm

Story
This pet is part of a bonded pair: https://www.adoptapet.com/pet/41959937-ada-minnesota-cat Butch (aka Butchy) and his sister Cassidy were born June 25th, 2023 on the side of our garage at a house we were renting at the time. We nursed them and bathed them and all the other stuff, supposedly in preparation for a new forever home. Yeah, nope! Now here we are a year later. They are very attached to each other, and, while shy at first, are INCREDIBLY affectionate to their humans. We love them to pieces even though we said we weren't going to let that happen (they didn't give us a chance, really.) Unfortunately, because of a family member's worsening allergies and, frankly, because we just can't give them all the attention they deserve, we want to find them a good, loving home. Our requirements: 1) Butch and Cassidy stay together, 2) they remain indoor only cats, and 3) If, for any reason, you decide that you can't keep one or both, we will take them back. Talk soon!
