Meet beautiful Dove! She is a very shy girl that will take time to warm up to you and learn to trust her humans. She was found as a stray and we don't know much about how she would do with other pets in the home. She would prefer to go to a quiet and calm home where she can slowly come out of her shell.

Serena is a 1 year old pure white long haired girl is a beauty! This sweetheart LOVES all people and has no issues begging for pets, lap time or invading your personal space. Professional head butts galore! Extremely affectionate and engaging with all people. This girl will hold a conversation with you and be a constant shadow. She will no doubt be snuggled right beside you when snuggled in bed. Serendipity was abandoned by her family near a remote cat community in NC. A kind woman took her in until she landed up in a rescue and ultimately made her way up to Pet Tails Rescue. Someone is going to be very fortunate to welcome this beautiful girl. Would most likely be best as the center of someone's life. All kitties are spayed/neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, FIV/FELV tested negative, microchipped, dewormed and have received a health exam from our veterinarian and received a NH Health Certificate.   Darla - Female DOB 5/4/2025 Domestic Long Hair - Tortoiseshell Tumble and Darla have been side by side since foster care, and it’s clear how much comfort they find in each other. We often see them moving through the room together or adorably settling into the same quiet spot, so they’ll need to go home as a pair. Tumble is the buff-colored girl who had a rough start early on. She’s fully healed now, but she’s still a sensitive soul and takes a little time to feel comfortable in new spaces. She’s very sweet and does enjoy being petted… she just needs slow movements and patience while she settles in. When Darla is nearby, you can almost see Tumble relax a little more. Darla is shy at first too, but once she’s comfortable, she’s all affection. She has long, silky fur and a gentle way about her. She will find comfort in laying in your lap if you sit on the floor or near her.  She loves wand toys, darting through tunnels, and then curling up close when playtime is over. One of our favorite things is finding her curled into a little ball next to her person during quiet TV time, completely content. These two would do well in a calm home as your only kitties where Darla will sometimes show her "tortitude" if other cats are in her space. No dogs or young children.  Older, respectful children who understand when to give them space may be okay. She loves to be around people and get pets.  She doesn't mind being picked up and held for a short period of time, but she's not really a lap cat right now.  Usually that comes in time with many cats once they settle into their new home.  She would love a fairly quiet home where she can spend her days basking in the sun and watching the critters outside. She will need to go home to another mellow, gentle kitty looking for a companion, and if you don't already have one, we have others at the rescue that would be a good fit for her.
