Story
Olivia - Female DOB 4/13/2017 Domestic Long Hair Brown Tabby -    Meet Olivia, who is a sweet girl with big fluffy paws. Olivia's past has been challenging; she was abandoned at a horse farm, spending her days in a barn with horses and feral cats. Despite the kindness of the farm owners, who ensured she was spayed and vaccinated, Olivia's life was full of fear and uncertainty. Now, Olivia is safe and beginning to discover the joys of a secure, loving place to rest herself.  Confident and playful, Olivia will come and say hello to just about anyone.  In exchange for some well deserved praise, she will provide you with endless purrs and biscuits.  Olivia is considered to be a “special needs” kitty where she has been diagnosed with a form of arthritis in her rear ankles which is similar to people rheumatoid arthritis.  This condition is being managed with a form of pain medication, and will require her to be on it for the rest of her life to help with any arthritis pain.  But that is really a small price to pay with all the love you will receive from her in return.  Olivia is able to walk, jog, and play with relative ease, but this renders her a low-agility cat.  This condition may prevent her from jumping up on high things, such as chairs, beds and counters, but with help of pet stairs or a means to get up on beds or couches, she’s right there beside you.  She loves to watch kitty videos or perch herself in front of a window watching the critters and birds outside.    Olivia knows when it’s her feeding time and if you haven’t already set her wet food on the floor by that time, she will tell you in no certain terms that you’re late!  She loves to be picked up and be carried around, while being gentle with her hind end.  She loves to take naps on your lap and also will come up to you and plop right down beside you without pause.  Olivia loves to tell you about her day when you come home and will have full blown conversations with you.  She is very talented at meows containing multiple syllables lol.  This gentle soul is not a fan of other cats, but she thrives in calm, quiet environments and would flourish best in a home without other pets or children. She longs for a patient, understanding owner who spends plenty of time at home to help her feel secure and cherished. If you're looking for a loyal, loving friend, Olivia is ready to trust and share her sweet spirit with you. Story
Blackberry - Female DOB 6/14/2024 Domestic Long Hair - Black Meet gorgeous Blackberry!  This long hair black beauty just wants a person to call her own, to be able to sit in their lap as long as her person will let her.  She loves attention, and to be around people more so than around other cats.  She would potentially tolerate another cat so long that they aren't in her face when she is having her lap time.  She is a pretty big girl for her age, and may even get a little bigger as she ages.  She was found by herself as a small kitten and had to be bottle-fed which is why she's probably so attached to people.  Blackberry will need to be with a family who is home most hours of the day so she has plenty of lap time and people time. She would possibly do fine with a calm, well mannered dog, and respectful older children.  She loves to play with toys and feather wands, and she also likes to be brushed which is a plus seeing how she has that long luxurious coat to take care of.        Please apply via our easy online application at https://furrr.org/cat-adoption-process/All kitten(s) and cat(s) at FuRRR Feline Rescue are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations for their age, combo tested for FIV/FeLV, microchipped and have a Health Certificate from a licensed NH veterinarian.  Our application is available to be completed online at  https://furrr.org/cat-adoption-process/  Applying DOES NOT guarantee approval.  We hold meet and greets with approved applications only.  (Kittens are available for adoption in pairs only unless they are going home to another kitten or young cat under 3) Our policy is strictly NO DECLAWING and INDOOR ONLY. Story
Hobbes - Male DOB 2/27/2024 Domestic Medium Hair - Brown Tabby Seamus and Hobbes are a pair of sweet, inseparable buddies looking for their family. They’ve been through a lot together, and while Seamus is the confident, playful one, Hobbes is still learning that people can be kind. With Seamus by his side, Hobbes is slowly starting to come out of his shell, and they both dream of a quiet home with cozy spots to nap in and big windows to watch the world go by. Seamus is the more outgoing of the two—he’s affectionate, playful, and loves to show off his impressive jumps when chasing a feather wand. Once he gets comfortable, he’ll come up for pets and attention. Hobbes, on the other hand, is still learning to trust. We don’t know exactly what their life was like before they were rescued, but it’s clear it wasn’t easy. He may give a little hiss at first when you reach out, but if you’re patient, he’ll lean into those chin and neck rubs and reward you with the sweetest purrs. Seamus also had a bit of a rough start—he was born with pectus excavatum, a condition that caused a dip in his chest. But thanks to a successful surgery in August 2024, he’s now totally fine and ready for his forever home! These two need to be adopted together, not just because they love each other, but because Seamus helps Hobbes feel safe. They’d do best in a calm home without dogs or kids, but they get along great with other friendly cats. With a little patience and a lot of love, they’ll be the perfect companions.   Going home with EliseGreta - Female DOB 8/26/2024 Domestic Long Hair - Brown Tabby Meet Greta, a very sweet and personable fluffy kitten!  Greta is a perfect mix of snuggly and playful—she’ll happily curl up on your lap while you are watching TV, or just if you're sitting somewhere playing on your phone.  She has the sweetest little purr that will make you want to never stop petting her.  She loves to play with her other littermates and with several toys. Greta must be adopted with her sibling, Adele, as they share a sweet bond as you can tell from the pictures. They would do well in a home either with other kitties or by themselves, and also may be fine with older respectful children and could potentially adjust to a calm, well-mannered dog.
