Story
Hi my name is Harris because I was dumped on Harris St in Nashville.  However I like Harry better.  It was kinda scary but at least my 'lovely' owners had the decency to let me out near a vet clinic.  Funny (not so funny) thing is that someone else had just put a box on the porch of the vet clinic containing another orange kitty.  Evidently they had just moved as the box had kitchen written on the top.  Kitchen has been adopted by a former employee and I am in a great foster home with Critter Cavalry.  I am now ready to fine my forever home.  I am 3 years old and I weigh 8 lbs.  I am a big fluffy guy but not as big as some of us orange cats can get.  I have really enjoyed being in my foster home.  I was very scared at first.  Now I am a confident and very loving boy who gets along well with everyone.  I especially love my people and am all up for cuddles and petting time.  If you are an orange tabby fan then you have found the purrfect buddy to join your family.  I have been neutered and am current on all my shots and microchipped.  To be considered for my forever family and to request an application please contact Vivienne at viviennejames@comcast.net.   APPROVED APPLICATION AND ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED.  (Harry is currently in Tennessee but can be transported north upon adoption.)September 22, 2023, 9:55 am

Story
This is Henry. He is a gorgeous black and white domestic long haired boy. Henry is 3 years old and very sweet. He was left outside when his owners moved and left him and his siblings behind to fend on their own. We were lucky enough to get  Henry and are still working on finding the other two. He is enjoying being fed regularly and being inside again. If you are interested in adopting this handsome boy please fill out an application at the link below. http://felinefriendsnh.com/site/page/application/ The adoption fee is 150.00 payable in cash or check. That includes spay/neuter, microchip, current on shots, negative for FELV and FIV.

Story
All interested people should submit an adoption application as their first step. Meet Stuart II, or Stewie, a vocal and friendly cat who loves to be around people. He is shy initially, but once he warms up to you, he will be your loyal companion. Stewie was rescued from a tough situation and is still recovering from malnutrition - he has a healthy appetite now and enjoys his meals. He has perfect litter-box skills and likes to be brushed. He is looking for a loving home where he can get the care and attention he deserves. If you are looking for a sweet and friendly cat, please apply for Stuart II...he can’t wait to meet you!     All pets adopted from GDHS are spayed or neutered, have vaccinations brought up to date, are on heartworm preventative (dogs), FIV/FELV tested (cats) and microchipped. The Greater Derry Humane Society does not have a physical shelter, and all visits are by appointment only. September 24, 2023, 9:10 am

Story
Greetings, I'm Pitous (Poutine), and I found my way to CAHS when my loving owner faced difficulties caring for me. Allow me to introduce myself to you. I'm a stunning, large Mainecoon cat mix with a penchant for seeking attention and affection. My days are filled with joy when I'm playing with toys, chasing after bugs, or simply relaxing on the couch and gazing out the window. In my previous home, I had the freedom to roam indoors and outdoors, but during a recent vet examination, it was discovered that I am Feline Immunodeficiency Virus positive (FIV+). This means I should now live indoors as the sole feline in the home to ensure my continued well-being. Don't worry, though - FIV-positive cats like me can lead long and wonderful lives with the right care and love. For my ideal home, I would thrive best in an adult-only environment without dogs, where I can receive all the love and attention I crave. If you're ready to provide a loving home for a special cat like me and embark on this journey together, please come meet me soon. Let's start a new chapter of love and companionship!
