Story
Meet Sabotage! A 5 year old grey and white male, medium haired cat from a local barn cat colony! Despite finding him in a barn he has been quickly coming around to staff and volunteers with a little help of some wet food, treats, and his favorite CHURU! He will be a work in progress and will need some extra TLC in his new home to ensure his socialization continues to thrive. He does have a medical condition that makes it so he can`t go outside anymore, but a safe indoor/outdoor space like a connected garage or an attic space where he can also hunt mice would make him so happy! He does get along with other cats, but should go into a home where there are only one or two other cats maximum. He will take some time but he has the potential to come around and it can be the most rewarding experience watching his fear of the world melt away. If you are looking for a semi-friendly mouser, this could be your guy!

Story
Meet Loki, a four-year-old feline. Life hasn't always been kind to Loki, leading him to have some trust issues with PSTD. He may randomly attack, but it's merely a defense mechanism, a shield against the harsh realities he's faced. Loki isn't just a cat; he's a survivor, a warrior, a testament to resilience. Loki has a heart that's capable of immense love, if given the chance. He's waiting for a patient, understanding individual who can help him overcome his past. Adopt Loki, and be the hero of his story. Loki would need a quiet home, without other pets and children. Loki is also part of the Take A Chance On Me Program. This means his adoption fee has been reduced for the right home. If you are interested in adopting, please fill put an application online at  ahimsahaven.org . Meet and greets are with an approved application by appointment only.   As always, cats that are ready to be adopted are spayed/neutered, have age appropriate shots, are micro-chipped, dewormed/deflead, and FEL/FIV tested.March 30, 2025, 8:45 am

Story
Meet Luna, a delightful 6-year-old feline with a unique blend of friendly independence and endearing shyness. Luna thrives in quiet environments, cherishing her own space and time. She's an affectionate soul who enjoys a gentle stroke or a soft word, and her preference is for a home where she can be the sole pet, with no other cats or dogs to share the limelight. Luna is not suited to a home with children, as she enjoys her tranquility. Luna should be adopted because her gentle nature and independent spirit make her a comforting presence, a friend who asks for little but gives much in return. She's waiting to fill your home with her quiet charm and loving personality. If you are interested in adopting, please fill put an application online at  ahimsahaven.org . Story
Easy going, friendly, affectionate and playful and all of those qualities in a tortie? You need to meet this rare gem Miss Mew! Given her advanced years, she is being adopted out as a hospice cat, though she has no noted health problems. She was loved by her owner who had to give her up when her landlord decided cats were no longer allowed (boo). Miss Mew has lived with other cats and likely could do so again so long as they could give her space and with a proper introduction. She has never met any dog however and probably would like to keep it that way. She has never met any children in her 15 years so likely older/respectful children would do best. If you'd like to meet this cuddly and couch potato, please call us at (603) 472-3647 and press 1 for adoptions.
