Story
Hi… I’m Luna.  I’m a black and white long-haired tuxedo girl, which means I’m always dressed up in my fancy coat… even though I’ve been waiting over a year for someone to take me home. I watch other cats leave with their families, and I try to be brave when it’s not my turn.   I’m 7 years old — past the wild kitten days, but still full of love and personality. I adore attention. When you pet me, I’ll melt into your hand and close my eyes like it’s the safest place in the world. I love nap time (especially somewhere soft and warm), and I’m friendly… but I’m also independent. I can entertain myself and carry myself like the queen I am.   And yes… I have some sass. Just a little sparkle of spice to keep things interesting. I know what I want, and what I want is to be your one and only. I need to be the only cat in the home — your one true feline love. I promise I’ll give you enough affection, personality, and companionship to fill every corner. I’ve been here for over a year. That’s a lot of quiet nights and hopeful mornings. My adoption fee has been sponsored because a special person believes I deserve my chance.   I’m still waiting. Still hoping someone sees past the time I’ve been here… and sees me. Will you let me finally go home?    If you are interested in adopting, please fill put an application online at  ahimsahaven.org . Meet and greets are with an approved application by appointment only.   As always, cats that are ready to be adopted are spayed/neutered, have age appropriate shots, are micro-chipped, dewormed/deflead, and FEL/FIV tested.July 21, 2026, 12:32 pm

Story
Hi… I’m JoJo   I’m 9 years young, which I think is the perfect age—old enough to be calm and wise, but still full of love to give. I’m a sweet, gentle soul who really shines in a quiet home where I can feel safe and relaxed. Once I trust you, I’m all about soft moments… curling up beside you, keeping you company, and just being your little shadow.   I’m not into chaos or loud energy, so I’d do best in a calm home without dogs. Older teens are just fine with me, especially if they understand that I like affection on my terms. Give me a little patience, and I’ll give you my whole heart.   If you’re looking for a loyal, comforting companion with a soft spirit and warm presence… I might just be your JoJo    If you are interested in adopting, please fill put an application online at    ahimsahaven.org .    Meet and greets are with an approved application by appointment only.   As always, cats that are ready to be adopted are spayed/neutered, have age appropriate shots, are micro-chipped, dewormed/deflead, and FEL/FIV tested.July 21, 2026, 12:32 pm

Story
Jessa – Female, long-haired torbie cat. I’m one of the most beautiful cats at the shelter.  However, I’m not friendly yet and need someone who would be willing to take me for a foster to adopt situation. I came in with my sister, Mimi Rose, but she got adopted. You can win me over by getting some wand toys and waving them around for me. I have good grooming habits and always look clean. It’s ok if you have another cat in the house, that could help socialize me faster. If this sounds like something you could do, please contact the shelter. I’m in Room 2.As always before adoption, all cats are spay/neutered, tested for FeLV/FIV, given distemper and rabies vaccines if old enough, flea and dewormer treatments if necessary.
