Story
Please contact the Cat Team (catapplications@graspinc.org) for more information about this pet.DOB:  09/06/21 Winter is a handsome and affectionate guy who loves being around his people and is a bit of a couch potato. He lived with cats and dogs in his first foster home, but once he was adopted he really did not get along with the cat in his new home.  We think Winter would be fine in a home with cat-friendly dogs, but he seems to prefer to be the king of his castle and it might be best if he was an only cat.   Apply to adopt Winter today!     Apply to adopt Winter today!     This cat has been combo-tested for Feline Leukemia and FIV, received all age-appropriate vaccinations and is altered.  May 26, 2024, 1:22 pm

Story
In an effort to assist animals outside the GRASP system, we have posted the following as a courtesy. GRASP does not screen these animals and relies upon the information provided by the pet parent. GRASP has no knowledge of the pet's history (i.e. health, behavior, temperament, etc.). All responsibility falls with the pet parent with whom the animal resides. If you are interested in this pet, please refer to the contact information below. Do not contact GRASP. Thank you. Listed: 5/21/24 DOB: 11/25/21 He is neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated. Although he is FIV positive, cats with FIV have a normal life span as long as they’re taken to the vet regularly. FIV won’t have any impact on a negative cat. He is between 3 to 5 years old with so friendly and sweet personality, a 17 lb gentle giant and affectionate boy even though he was rescued from a rough part of the city. This alone shows he was abandoned and desperately wants a home again. Bruce may be better in a single-cat household because he can occasionally become jealous, sharing a house with another male cat is NOT recommended. Better yet, adopt a young kitten too so he can become the big “father” to the kitten OR with another cat that is female. It needs to be a very slow introduction properly for them to get used to each other fully. Please contact Esther at felinewhisper9089@gmail.com if you have any questions or would like to adopt.  May 26, 2024, 1:22 pm

Story
Aggie, a 3-6 yr old stray, came to live inside my basement after an injury 2 years ago. Though temperamental, she was a beauty and often sweet. I decided to tame her, but Aggie is paranoid around other cats. It’s near impossible for her to negotiate my house or property. (I have a dog downstairs, 2 cats upstairs, 4-6 strays outside.) She loves to sit on my lap, be petted on the head, and do Sudoku puzzles with me in bed. She will get testy and do low growls if she’s hungry or needs the bathroom, and when I carry her upstairs, past other critturs, to her safe haven in the attic. She won’t come in the house past other strays who hang out on the porch or in the driveway. She comes when called, and will hang with me outdoors in the garden all afternoon. Aggie would be a good companion for a single patient admirer who would lovingly talk to her, remind her of her status as queen of her new home with no other animals, clean cat boxes, good food, and sunny spots for a happy afternoon roll.

Story
Meet Fresia and Flora, inseparable sisters who are one year old and have soft, long fur. They MUST be adopted TOGETHER! Flora, a dark tortoiseshell calico, is outgoing and playful, always seeking attention. In contrast, Fresia, mostly white and petite, is a bit reserved but warms up to affection and is gradually becoming more interactive with humans. Despite her shyness, she joins in playtime with her sister as an observer rather than an active participant. Their close bond is evident as they delight in playing with their tunnel toy and communicate through quiet chatter. They share a special connection and enjoy grooming sessions. Both cats have a passion for food and treats and must be adopted together. They would thrive in a calm household with adults or older teens but are not suitable for a home with dogs. They are both spayed, up to date on vaccinations, treated for parasites, tested negative for both FIV and FeLV, and microchipped. If you would like to adopt Fresia and Flora please complete an online Adoption Form at our website https://feralsandkittensandcatsohmy.org/adoption-application/   May 26, 2024, 12:17 am
