Foxy is an adult Female Black and White DLH Foxy was dumped on a busy road out in the country, and was probably on her own for about three months, according to occasional sightings. We can’t imagine why she was dumped, as she is sweet and gentle, likes people (after an initial ‘get to know you’) and absolutely loves to sit on laps. She is 100% reliable using her litter box. Watching birds through the window is her second favorite pastime. But she hasn’t made any effort to get through the door to return to the wild. Foxy hopes for a quiet home where her people or person is home a lot. She is quite content to sit on a lap for hours of TV or reading, and is likely to want to sleep with her person too! Could this wonderful girl be your best friend for the holidays and beyond? Here is the adoption process: To adopt an animal you must complete an application and be approved. There is a $60 fee for any animal which needs to be cash or a check - NO CREDIT CARDS. If the animal is not spayed or neutered, there is a $35 deposit which will be returned upon proof of surgery. All dogs must be licensed before leaving the Shelter. Please note that public offices that issue dog licenses are not open on Saturdays and Sundays. All cats must leave in a carrier. She can be intimidated by fast moving objects and people. She may do well with a calm respectful cat with a slow introduction, but would likely be very happy as an only kitty!
