A shiny, black, long-haired coat with a deep chocolate undertone and extra-long white whiskers, he has. White bib and white gloves, he wears to every meal. Silver platter not required. Brushing every day is required and he loves, loves, loves to be brushed. His favorite hangout is sprawled out in the middle of the rug for everyone to admire him. For some reason, perhaps past accommodations, taught him not to jump on the living room furniture. Backstory - A stray cat kept creeping by my sliding glass door asking for food and I soon realized that he had no home. So, Oliver became my project. I posted him on several media sites, inquired with neighbors but no one claimed him. Then a neighbor threatened harm to him, so I pulled out all the stops. Oliver was scared and hungry. He went from being under the bed at to snuggling with us. Having been food deprived in his past, he shcan be a bit food obsessed (aren't we all?!) Despite having a rough life, he is a handsome, well-mannered kitty. He gives plenty of leg rubs, and best of all, doesn’t wake you up in the morning! He would probably do best as an only cat in a home with adults only.
