Story
Meet Wonder, a kitten whose name truly encapsulates her spirit. Her personality is as charming as her love for lickable treat tubes. Wonder's friendliness is contagious, spreading joy through her foster home. Her sweetness is reminiscent of the gentle purr that resonates from her, while her intelligence is reflected in her curious nature. Cuddly and playful, she's always ready to engage in a fun game or snuggle up for a comforting nap. Wonder's combination of qualities makes her a unique companion. Her best friend Coral and she share a unique bond. Both were found separately as orphan neonate kittens. They came together once they were weaned from their surrogate moms. Together they explore their foster home climbing to the top of the cat tree and zooming around like rocket ships. Wonder and Coral are bonded and should be adopted together as a pair. Adopt Wonder and Coral and experience the magic they bring to everyday life. Wonder is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. She will still need her rabies vaccine after adoption which will be the responsibility of her adopters. Their adoption fee for the pair is $500. To apply, please submit an adoption application.

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Hi, my name is Mufasa! I am a sweet affectionate boy that loves to get all the chin scratches. I will even climb right into your lap if that means I'll get more attention. I love to push up against people and curl up in their arms for snuggles when it is time for a nap. My favorite pass time when there isn't anyone around would be sprawling out in a window soaking up the sun or watching the birds and waiting for them to get close. While in the shelter I did test positive for FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) but don't worry as I am still living my best, happiest life. I would prefer to be the only cat in the household or go to a household with other FIV+ cats.***NOTE*** Please remember that animals are coming back from foster care to the centres for their meet and greets. They will be experiencing a new environment and meeting new people, which means they may not exhibit the same behaviours they did in their foster videos or while in foster care.If you are viewing this through Petango or Adopt-a-pet, please visit our website https://kwsphumane.ca/adopt/process

Story
This is Gucci. He is approximately 4 years old. He has long black fur and a very bushy tail. His legs are unusually long which hive him a comical stride. He comes from a loving family who sadly had to give him up. He is playful with his foster brothers and sisters but sometimes plays rough. He would love to find a home with another friendly cat who is not timid or shy. Gucci has a history of being afraid of strangers but he has done well meeting new people since living in his foster home. He loves to get lots of pets from his foster mom and is very gentle with people. He is a sweet silly goofball. Gucci is available for adoption through Grand River All Breed Rescue. The adoption donation is $325 per cat. All of our cats are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated as part of their adoption. If you’d like to adopt, please fill out an application. You can also reach us by email at GrandRiverRescue@hotmail.com.

Story
Artemis is a beautiful 3 year old Tuxedo who has been raised since birth with our family. Born on April 18, 2020. Artemis is an indoor cat, has been fixed and is litter trained. Sadly, and with heavy hearts, we feel it would be best to re-home Artemis to give him the life he deserves. Artemis and my grandson who is on the spectrum, do not co-exist well together. We raise our grandson. Artemis will hiss at our grandson and is obviously anxious around him. Our grandson will walk backwards to avoid seeing the cat and forever obsesses “where’s the cat” It is clearly obvious that the two are very stressed out by one another. I want more for the both of them. This decision has not come lightly but I feel that there is better out there for Artemis and he deserves more than this. He is a lovely soul. Artemis is being rehomed by his owners. This is a courtesy post on their behalf. If you’d like to adopt Artemis, you can also reach us by email at GrandRiverRescue@hotmail.com.

Good with cats, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Meet Chloe! Beautiful Chloe is a female, longer haired calico, about 2.5 years old. She is a very sweet cuddly girl - a gentle soul. Chloe came to us from a hoarding situation, underweight and suffering from flea dermatitis, anemia and stomatitis. After recovering from the flea dermatitis and anemia, she had a dental in March and 5 teeth removed. It did not help with the stomatitis and she had to go back in to have all of her teeth removed in October. She is now healthy, happy and ready for adoption. We would love to see Chloe in a calmer, more mature home that has time to give her the attention she deserves. She is good with the other male cats in her foster home but does not like other female cats. Chloe has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and tested negative for FIV/FELV. If you have room in your heart and your home for this sweet girl, contact us here of email heartstohomesfelines@gmail.com.
