Story
Holly is an older girl looking for a quiet and patient home! She has plenty of love and cuddles to give but she needs time to adjust to her new surroundings. She really enjoys being brushed and combed, it`s a necessity as her fur gets matted very quickly near her head and rear. Holly sometimes likes to play with toys but only if you`re on the other end, such as a sting toy! Please welcome her into your home with patient, loving, and kind heart. Her complete medical includes her spay, microchip, vaccinations up to date, dewormer, flea treatment, and FIV/Felv/HW test (negative).

Story
Meet Little Grey — or LG, if you’re already on nickname terms!! (case #7690) Little Grey is an eight-year-old sweetheart with the softest soul and the biggest heart. He was adopted this past June and deeply cherished by his person, a senior who doted on him and found enormous comfort in his gentle companionship. Sadly, due to an unexpected and serious change in her health, she had to move into a care facility where pets aren’t allowed. Saying goodbye to LG was incredibly hard — he was truly loved, spoiled, and well cared for — and now he’s looking for his next forever home. LG is a loving, social boy who genuinely enjoys being around people. He’s happiest when he can be near you, whether that’s batting at wand toys, playing with his favorite toys, or curling up beside you for a cozy snuggle. He also has a special talent for claiming the bed as his spot, stretching out contentedly and soaking up the comfort. Coming from a quiet, calm home with no other pets or children, Little Grey may do best in a similar environment where he can feel safe and settled. Since arriving, he’s been a bit out of sorts — which is completely understandable given how much his world has changed — but beneath that uncertainty is a deeply affectionate cat who just wants to belong again. Little Grey isn’t just looking for a home; he’s looking for his person. If you have a peaceful home, a warm bed, and room in your heart for a gentle companion who will adore you right back, LG might be the perfect match. Please complete an adoption application: https://www.hamilton.ca/home-neighbourhood/animals-pets/adopt-or-foster-pet/adoptions Animal adoptions and viewing are by appointment only. This allows our Adoption Staff to spend quality time with each potential home to ensure the most successful matches are made between the animals and their new families. *Please note: we only adopt within Ontario

Story
We acquired Clarence from a friend who rescued him from the streets. This friend could no longer take care of him so he was accepted into our home. Clarence is approximately 12 years old and after his chaotic life as a stray, Clarence is ready to settle down with a loving family. Clarence is a very cuddly and affectionate cat who just needs peace.

Story
Doug is 2 years old. His birthday is August 12, 2023. He was adopted from PetSmart. I have a baby on the way and I financially can’t look after him anymore. I am looking for a loving home for him. He is good with other pets and children. Any questions about him, please ask. I want to make sure he’s a good fit for his new family. Rehoming hasn’t been an easy decision, but it’s being made with their best interest at heart. Message me if you’d like to learn more. I would like to include his favourite toys that he’s had since a baby as well as his cat trees (2) and litter box (if you’d like it).

Story
📄 RIVER — Professional Introvert (Feline) Birthday: ~March 17, 2021 Star Sign: Pisces 🐟 (Will absolutely “swim away” when overwhelmed) Credentials: Neutered • Vaccinated • Microchipped • Low-Drama Icon 🐾 Objective Seeking a quiet forever home where my hobbies—staring out windows, light zoomies, and avoiding chaos—are fully appreciated. ✨ Qualifications Doesn’t do “cat stuff.” Zero interest in curtain climbing, counter surfing, shelf yeeting, or midnight parkour. Expert Rumble-Purrer. Engine sounds comparable to a semi-truck idling. Master of Cleanliness. Immaculate litter habits. Would make Marie Kondo proud. Low-Key Zoomer. Zoomies come in “gentle mode” only. Best enjoyed with a tray-ball toy. Window Enthusiast. Can watch birds, neighbors, and leaves for hours. Will not file reports. Affection Style: “I sit near you because I love you.” Touch optional. Proximity guaranteed. 😬 Areas for Growth (Please Don’t Rush Me) Startles if you blink too loudly. Still suspicious of hands, sudden movements, flirt sticks, and TVs that move. Accepts pets only on the shoulders… and only if you’re cool about it. Head pets? That’s a no from me, dawg. Overstimulates faster than a toddler in a candy store. 🧑‍🤝‍🧑 Social Experience Has shared territory with another cat (Krissy): Phase 1: “Absolutely not.” Phase 2: “Mildly offended.” Phase 3: “Fine, I guess we can nap near each other.” Dogs? Unknown. Humans? He’ll tolerate your presence… eventually even enjoy it. 🏡 Ideal Home Quiet Patient Not sponsored by Chaos™ Comes with a window shelf and respect for personal boundaries 🌟 Special Skills Rolling onto his back and looking extremely adoptable Watching you cuddle other cats as he tries to decode the concept Being adorable without trying Pisces-level emotional depth 📬 Hire River Today He’s not your typical clingy lap cat — he’s your introverted coworker who eventually warms up and becomes the funniest person in the office… once you earn his trust.
