Story
Cedar is one half of a perfectly bonded pair, he is looking for his forever home alongside his brother Chester! You just can’t miss seven year old Cedar when you walk into the room, this well-dressed tuxedo was practically born to be at the center of the attention! Next to his handsome brother Chester, Cedar is happy to be the life of whatever party life brings your way. Boisterous and confident, Cedar will demand pets from the moment you get close to him - Pet him top to bottom, scratch his ears, pat his back, Cedar is just happy as long as you’re spending time with him! Cedar is also very happy to listen to you talk about your day, and is more than glad to lend and ear while you massage his gorgeous fur and fluffy body. Thanks to an inquisitive nature and naturally curious streak, Cedar is always excited when something new comes his way - Whether that’s a catnip toy or something exciting happening outside the window, Cedar will give his full attention to whatever game is he focused on that day! Something else that Cedar may enjoy greatly would be cat or bird videos up on the TV screen or on your phone. Cedar is a big fan of having that lucious coat of his brushed out to perfection, so don’t be shy about spoiling him every opportunity that you get.

Story
Onyx arrived at the Haven when Mom was hiding and living under one of our buildings. We secured Mom who was semi feral and realized she had recently had a litter. After crawling under the building we found 5 sweet kitties with eyes still closed. They are now approximately 6 months and 4 have found homes, Onyx is the last one looking for a home. Like his siblings, Onyx is timid but with patience and love, his siblings are flourishing in their new homes. Onyx is vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and as per our adoption contract his adopter will be required to have him neutered when of age. If interested please send us an application- https://form.jotform.com/222805088235254 Or email- havenoftheheart1@gmail.com

Story
Introducing Rufus! Male    DOB: 2017 Rufus was rescued from a long tough life on the streets of Stoufville, in an industrial area where he was most likely dumped.  He was in rough shape; he had all the battle wounds of street life, and his fur was so badly matted it was attached to his skin.   Thanks to the unconditional love, patience and dedication of his foster mom he has come a long way on his journey and is thriving living the indoor life! Rufus has learned to trust humans, actively seeks attention, enjoys lovins & petting and can chat up a storm!     A gorgeous long haired white tabby with thick dense fur and  an adorable innocent face who has a sweet, calm, gentle nature.   Rufus would do well in a home where he is the only pet.  If you want to be the one to give Rufus the” furever” home he has never known, please fill out ana adoption application and contact us.     November 19, 2024, 4:08 pm

Story
DOB: April 2011Meet Rod: Lush and lovely in his licorice coat, regal Rod is recovering well from a life spent outdoors. Little by little, he’s gaining confidence, allowing himself to be petted when approached slowly before retreating to the safety of the cat room’s green box. Hoping to bloom into someone’s faithful companion, Rod’s dream can come true with the help of a patient and understanding home either with one of his friends or with another confident cat already there.
