Story
Pecan and Angel are a beautiful sister-brother duo who were found abandoned together in a hotel room. Throughout this experience, the only constant in their lives was each other. As a result, these two have created a close bond and need to be kept together. A quiet home for these lovely siblings would be best for them to finally be able to relax together at ease. Angel is a handsome fella, so beautiful that he was originally mistaken for a girl when we first met him! It wasn't until his foster brought him to have a shave down under that we started apologizing for calling him "pretty little lady" all day. Angel is a tough, independent guy that doesn't need anyone (besides his sister)! He likes to lounge around on furniture to claim his territory, and will come out to interact with you when he decides he wants attention. To maintain the tough guy act, he sometimes likes to challenge his fellow cat mates to see who the toughest cat on the field is! He backs down to no one (except for his sister, who will easily take him down if he crosses her... and maybe for treats too!).Pecan is a sophisticated lady who likes to roam around the house and keep an eye on things. She is a low maintenance girl who won't ask too much of you! She sometimes bosses her brother around when he's being a bother (don't we all?), but she is a sweet, shy, and quiet girl for the most part. She's not the biggest fan of the other cats in the house; she just growls and runs away from them most of the time. The only kitty she really loves hanging out with is her brother!Angel and Pecan would be best suited for an owner who is patient and willing to give these siblings the space they need to open up. Their boundaries were not respected in the past, but with the right person, they will be able to learn to trust again. And they will repay you with love! If you would like to provide a fur-ever home for these gorgeous siblings, contact Team Cat Rescue today!

Story
Our sweet senior boy, Captain Sushi, was dumped in a parking lot with 3 other cats and was extremely matted when he arrived. Now that he has been shaved and cared for, it is his affectionate purr-sonality which truly makes Captain Sushi stand out as such a special boy!Already dressed in a tuxedo, Captain Sushi makes for a dashing companion every night of the week. Wherever you are in your home, Captain Sushi loves to greet you and cuddle by your side. He is the ultimate lap cat and the world's greatest napping buddy - how can you resist taking a snooze while cozying up with this sweet, snuggly fella? When he is not in snuggle land, Captain Sushi enjoys chasing a laser pointer, as well as playing with toys that jingle. Play and diet is encouraged to help Captain Sushi stay his healthiest and most vibrant self!Captain Sushi has a couple of cute quirks that his foster family adores. He has a hoppy run which resembles that of a bunny rabbit. And he has an insatiable taste for exploring open cupboards and cabinets! With his striking green eyes and long silky fur, Captain Sushi makes a handsome companion to any home. If you would like to provide this beautiful boy with the fur-ever family he so deserves, please contact Team Cat Rescue today!

DOB: April 2011Meet Rod: Lush and lovely in his licorice coat, regal Rod is recovering well from a life spent outdoors. Little by little, he’s gaining confidence, allowing himself to be petted when approached slowly before retreating to the safety of the cat room’s green box. Hoping to bloom into someone’s faithful companion, Rod’s dream can come true with the help of a patient and understanding home either with one of his friends or with another confident cat already there. DOB: May 2019Meet Casey: Special Needs: Not A Lap Cat Yet, Very Timid Captivating Casey with his dark grey-striped coat comes to greet you when you have a treat or wet food. Unsure about being picked up just yet, approach slowly and he may allow a pet.  He also likes playing with the other kitties, chasing the laser’s red dot, and sprinting after cat springs and cat wands. Now Casey hopes he can go to a loving patient home with one of his playmates or to one with a playful young puss already there. Story
DOB: March 2019Meet River: Special Needs: FIV positive. Rescued several months ago from the freezing cold, River has been “thawing” in the shelter, growing more confident and more comfortable day by day. With his melting gaze and lush coat, he’s captured everyone’s heart, and has not only grown accustomed to but welcomes head pets and cheek and chin rubs, often asking paw-litely for even more. Now a fastidious self-groomer and famously fond of wet food, River really hopes to continue life’s loving journey with patient and attentive adopters in a tranquil fur-ever home.
