Story
Introducing Rufus! Male    DOB: 2017 Rufus was rescued from a long tough life on the streets of Stoufville, in an industrial area where he was most likely dumped.  He was in rough shape; he had all the battle wounds of street life, and his fur was so badly matted it was attached to his skin.   Thanks to the unconditional love, patience and dedication of his foster mom he has come a long way on his journey and is thriving living the indoor life! Rufus has learned to trust humans, actively seeks attention, enjoys lovins & petting and can chat up a storm!     A gorgeous long haired white tabby with thick dense fur and  an adorable innocent face who has a sweet, calm, gentle nature.   Rufus would do well in a home where he is the only pet.  If you want to be the one to give Rufus the” furever” home he has never known, please fill out ana adoption application and contact us.     November 19, 2024, 4:08 pm

Story
Darla is a spicy sweet girl. What`s that? She knows what she wants and will not stop until she gets it! She is very vocal and her meows have various meanings, which attentive cat owners will understand completely. If she wants to get down, it’s going to happen. If she wants cuddles, she’ll purr like an engine and nestle into your chest as close as she can. She loves to sleep tucked in right next to you on a chair!Darla is quite a little lady and has absolutely gorgeous, soft, silky fur - her colourings are quite striking! Darla had one eye removed due to a condition called eyelid agenesis/eyelid coloboma, which is a birth defect in cats that causes abnormal eyelid development. She is now happy and healthy. She did so well wearing a cone for several weeks, and sat sweetly during her vet trips. She travels well and is a very good girl!Darla adores playtime. She loves playing with the other cats in her foster home, and gets along particularly well with the youngest male cat. She must go to a home with another young cat to play with and be entertained by. She loves to play with springs, strings, and crinkly balls. She also does well with human children aged six and up. Darla is a huge people person, and loves to be around the action. If you’re looking for ways to add a sweet cat who will still provide some spice to your life, please reach out to Team Cat Rescue about Darla today!

Story
Anchovy was abandoned outdoors and left to fend for himself for years before he was found. This boy may look salty, but he’s all sweet! He’s cool, calm, and collected, and has thoroughly embraced retirement as an indoor cat. Anchovy is FIV+, but that hasn`t slowed down his enjoyment of his newly luxurious life! FIV is not a death sentence, as it only means a lower immune system. This cannot be transmitted to other kinds of pets or humans. FIV is only transmitted to other cats via birth from an FIV mom, or through very deep bites. Anchovy is a big guy at 17 lbs, but that`s just more to love! He is not overweight (and may actually still be slightly underweight from life outdoors) - he’s just a large boy! Anchovy hasn’t shown much of a penchant for playtime yet, but he certainly loves a good cat nap. This handsome man is comfortable with other cats after a proper introduction. Anchovy likes the simple things in life: a cozy bed, a piece of twine, and dental kibble are his current favorites! If Anchovy sounds like a purr-fect fit for your home, please reach out to Team Cat Rescue today!

Story
DOB: April 2011Meet Rod: Lush and lovely in his licorice coat, regal Rod is recovering well from a life spent outdoors. Little by little, he’s gaining confidence, allowing himself to be petted when approached slowly before retreating to the safety of the cat room’s green box. Hoping to bloom into someone’s faithful companion, Rod’s dream can come true with the help of a patient and understanding home either with one of his friends or with another confident cat already there. Story
DOB: May 2019Meet Casey: Special Needs: Not A Lap Cat Yet, Very Timid Captivating Casey with his dark grey-striped coat comes to greet you when you have a treat or wet food. Unsure about being picked up just yet, approach slowly and he may allow a pet.  He also likes playing with the other kitties, chasing the laser’s red dot, and sprinting after cat springs and cat wands. Now Casey hopes he can go to a loving patient home with one of his playmates or to one with a playful young puss already there.
