Story
Hi, my name is Kitty! I’m available for adoption! I am currently in foster care, so if I sound like a good fit and you would like to meet me, please submit an adoption application to catterystaff@green-hill.org or in person at Greenhill Humane Society. Once Cattery staff has reviewed your application they will contact you to discuss next steps for arranging a meet and greet. Please read the questions and answers below to learn more about me. Do you like other cats? Not much is known about my past history with cats. I may do well with another cat after a slow introduction. What do you think about living with a dog? In the past I have had a negative experience with a dog. It`s possible that I will do well with a cat savvy dog, but I may prefer to go to a home without dogs. How do you feel about kids? My history with children is unknown, but my friends in the Cattery think I would do best in a home with older, cat savvy children, teens, or adults only. What was your previous home like? I was found as a stray and then lived indoors as the only pet in the home for less than a year. What’s your ideal home like? A calm and quiet home who will give me plenty of time to adjust to my new surroundings and will be understanding that I am relatively independent and prefer interactions be done on my terms. Is there anything else we should know about you? I am adorable and sweet once I trust you. I would be an excellent addition to someone`s home who is looking for the company of a cat in their home, but not a constant companion.

Story
I’m available for adoption! Come out to Greenhill Humane Society to meet me! Do you like other cats? I should do well with another cat after a slow introduction period! What do you think about living with a dog? I would probably be able to adjust to living with a cat savvy dog after a slow introduction period. How do you feel about kids? I am very shy; kids can be a bit scary to me (loud noises/fast movements are very scary to me)! I need to go to an adult only home. What`s your ideal home like? I am looking someone that has experience with shy/undersocialized cats and that will be understanding that I am shy and will need more time than a typical kitten to adjust to my new home! A calm quiet household would be best for me with no children. Since I am a kitten I have lots of energy and will require lots of play time! It would also be ideal if there was another kitten or young playful cat in the home to insure that I learn appropriate cat manners! I must go to a home with active/healthy adults who will be able to get down on the floor with me multiple times a day.Is there anything else we should know about you? I`m a very cute kitten!

Story
SASHA is a fluffy, solid black female adult kitty with eyes that are sometimes golden or sometimes green, depending upon her mood. She is a special girl, very enchanting with a personality that is made up of both sugar and spice. She is known for both her independence and her charm. She will demand your attention, but you must know that she would be best suited in a home as an only cat, no small children, and with someone who is very familiar with cats and who knows how to read their behaviors. The Sugar/Charming Sasha: She can be a VERY affectionate cat that loves to lay in your lap while being petted. She will follow you around while rubbing against your legs asking you to pet her. She loves to climb up to higher spaces while watching you. Once you have earned her trust, she will give you head bumps and rubs as well as purring. She loves to play and chase toys that you toss to her. The Spicy/Sassy Sasha: During her adaptation to new places and people, she can display body language and behaviors that warrant allowing this girl her own space. Slow deliberate movements so that you don't startle her, are very helpful. If you are well-versed in cat language you will realize this and allow her the space she needs. It will take a while (probably a couple of months) for her to come out of her shell on her own terms. Sasha was a bottle baby who was about 3 months old when first adopted. She was returned after five years—we think that she did not like having small children around, nor did she like the other cat in the house. [When she was a kitten, she had no other cats to show her the ropes.] Sasha is a very special cat who will reward a patient adopter with incredible love and affection, once she has acclimated and bonded to her new human. SASHA has been spayed, microchipped, is negative for FeLV and FIV, and includes a free wellness visit with our vet partners. To meet SASHA in foster care, please submit an adoption application for consideration at CatRescues.org/Adopt or a paper copy available at Petsmart. A volunteer will contact you within 3-5 business days for a possible meet and greet. The $100 adoption fee allows us to continue to provide care and find loving homes for abandoned and neglected cats in our Eugene/Springfield community. For more information, send an email to AdoptInfo@CatRescues.org or call 541-225-4955 option 1. ID # 1609-C0501R NOTE: CRAN WILL SPONSOR TWO FREE GROOMING APPTS DURING THE FIRST YEAR AFTER SASHA IS ADOPTED. Story
WETZEL is a long-haired golden tabby adult male with a very fluffy, expressive tail. He loves to be around people, and will lean against you while you are reading, crafting, chatting with friends, or even watching TV. He also enjoys long naps on a variety of beds. He loves his tall cat tower where he can watch the outside world go by. He is the perfect mix of playful and couch potato. He can spend hours chasing feathers, mice, banana toys, and strings around the room as long as someone is playing with him. He will remind his humans when it is time for a feeding, and if you ignore him, he will gently pat the side of your head. Wetzel can be shy with strangers, but he warms up quickly to anyone who appreciates him for the amazing cat that he is. He loves treats, getting gentle pets, and would enjoy a calm home – likely best as an only cat. Wetzel is smart and independent, and is perfect for a family that wants to adore a cat who will adore them right back. WETZEL is a special needs kitty who came to us with an auto-immune condition called Pillow Foot (swelling of his foot pads).  This is treated with an immune suppressing medication (cyclosporine).  He is currently in remission, but will need to continue on the medication every 3 days, for the time being.  He is also on a special diet (Royal Canin Urinary S/O+Calm), and the total estimated monthly cost of his diet and medication is $175.  His adopter should also be experienced with long-haired cats, as he will require weekly hairball medication and brushing.   To meet WETZEL in foster care, please submit an adoption application for consideration at CatRescues.org/Adopt or a paper copy available at Petsmart. A volunteer will contact you within 3-5 business days for a possible meet and greet. The $70 adoption fee allows us to continue to provide care and find loving homes for abandoned and neglected cats in our Eugene/Springfield community. Story
VIRGINIA WOLF is a petite, predominantly brown tabby with charming tufts in her ears and a lovely long coat.  While fully adult, she has the heart of a kitten – playful, adventurous, and loving.  She may initially be a bit shy but will soon reveal her spunk and sass.  Outgoing and energetic, Virginia Wolf enjoys a wide variety of toys, and is an avid fan of mouse and bird channels on television.  But she also has a softer side, and loves to snuggle, purr and make biscuits as she falls asleep next to her human.  Always at the center of the action, Virginia Wolf truly loves human companionship and playtime.   She would love a home where she can run, pounce and climb.  While she enjoys observing the great outdoors from a window, she is easily discouraged from escaping.  Virginia Wolf will put a spring in your step, a smile on your face, and a song in your heart.  Surrendered to CRAN when her owner could no longer care for her, she is a joyful and charming companion who is seeking a forever home and a human companion or family that will lavish her with attention and love.  VIRGINIA WOLF  has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, is negative for FeLV and FIV.  Her adoption fee includes a free wellness visit with our vet partners.  To meet Virginia Wolf in foster care, submit an adoption application for consideration at CatRescues.org/Adopt or a paper copy available at PetSmart.  A volunteer will contact you within 3-5 business days for a possible meet and greet.  The $100 adoption fee allows us to continue to provide care and find loving homes for abandoned and neglected cats in our Eugene/Springfield community.  For more information, send an email to Adoptioninfo@CatRescues.org or call 541-225-4955 option 1.  ID 2406-C0175 VIRGINIA WOLF  DOB  6/1/2016 BEST AS AN ONLY CAT UNKNOWN WITH DOGS GOOD WITH GENTLE, CAT SAVVY KIDSJune 12, 2025, 8:08 pm
