God's Dogs Rescue plus Kitties does NOT transport any cats or kittens in or out of the state of Texas. It is too stressful for the cats or kittens to be transported long distances, especially when enclosed in a vehicle containing dogs and puppies. Thank you for your understanding. Hockney's story in pictures: Hockney is a loving, warm kitten who is a little quieter than his brothers. He's very active but just doesn't trumpet his conquests as much as his siblings. The pictures depict Hockney asking for HEB Lone Star crackers, helping himself to the bag, licking his lips for crumbs and then satisfied because he got a cracker! (He takes his crackers to the food bowl for eating.) Please note that he isn't covered in household dust--that is cracker dust! Hockney also likes to sleep on his back--partly because the floor is cool and partly because he loves to have his belly rubbed Hockney deserves his very own furever home where he can love his humans and be loved by them!

Sunny is an amazing cat, and we would keep him if it was possible, but due to a tragic personal event we just can't. But I do want him to have a good home, so here he is... SUNNY! He's a lovable boy who deserves a great home. Is that you? Also, I can't find the option to change our current location, but Sunny is in Gresham, not Salem.

SASHA is a fluffy, solid black female adult kitty with eyes that are sometimes golden or sometimes green, depending upon her mood. She is a special girl, very enchanting with a personality that is made up of both sugar and spice. She is known for both her independence and her charm. She will demand your attention, but you must know that she would be best suited in a home as an only cat, no small children, and with someone who is very familiar with cats and who knows how to read their behaviors. The Sugar/Charming Sasha: She can be a VERY affectionate cat that loves to lay in your lap while being petted. She will follow you around while rubbing against your legs asking you to pet her. She loves to climb up to higher spaces while watching you. Once you have earned her trust, she will give you head bumps and rubs as well as purring. She loves to play and chase toys that you toss to her. The Spicy/Sassy Sasha: During her adaptation to new places and people, she can display body language and behaviors that warrant allowing this girl her own space. Slow deliberate movements so that you don't startle her, are very helpful. If you are well-versed in cat language you will realize this and allow her the space she needs. It will take a while (probably a couple of months) for her to come out of her shell on her own terms. Sasha was a bottle baby who was about 3 months old when first adopted. She was returned after five years—we think that she did not like having small children around, nor did she like the other cat in the house. [When she was a kitten, she had no other cats to show her the ropes.] Sasha is a very special cat who will reward a patient adopter with incredible love and affection, once she has acclimated and bonded to her new human. SASHA has been spayed, microchipped, is negative for FeLV and FIV, and includes a free wellness visit with our vet partners. To meet SASHA in foster care, please submit an adoption application for consideration at CatRescues.org/Adopt or a paper copy available at Petsmart.
