Story
Hi guys, Marigold here! I have been at the shelter for more than a year now. My medical needs tend to shoo people away but this is not the ideal environment for me to live the rest of my life. I need a low-traffic home and a fluffy bed to call my own! I am a gorgeous 3 year old girl who ended up at the shelter as a stray. I am a very sweet girl, but I will need a dedicated home that will take care of me. Not long after coming in, I began having seizures. I was started on medication, but it took some time for the staff here at the shelter to get me leveled out. I am on two different medications that I take twice a day. This medication is relatively inexpensive but MUST be continued. I take my meds with no problem too! I do enjoy the company of other cats, but it would likely be best if there were no young children in the home as I can be a bit jumpy and do not like to be picked up. I would prefer a home without dogs but I do enjoy the company of other laid back cats. If you think you may be the right home for me, please submit an application for me today.

Story
EXPERIENCED ADOPTERS ONLYHi, I'm Bindi! I'm a 3 year old girl who was brought in through no fault of my own. I've had some trouble adjusting here at the shelter, but staff say they know there's a sweet girl under this tough exterior. I would do best in a home without children due to my temperamental personality. I'm front declawed, so the only way I have to defend myself is to bite. I would love to co-exist with a nice family in a real home of my own! I would be a very pretty piece of artwork for you to look at roaming around your home. I definitely need attention on my terms. I come to the people for a couple pets and I am set for the rest of the day. I can not live in a home with dogs or other cats. My ideal home would be a calmer, quiet home where I can take the time I need to adjust and acclimate with a patient family who can help me through. I prefer to do things on my own terms, so my future family will need to be understanding of that. Once I have adjusted to a new human, I love to be scratched under the chin and to play toys. I will need visits scheduled and with serious adopters only. If you think you could be the home to allow me to grow and adjust, please ask staff about me and submit an application for me today!

Story
Hello, my name is Alice I am more than ready to find my new home. I came into the shelter because I was living with 59 other cats in a not so good situation. After getting some medial treatment and a pretty new haircut... I am feeling way better. I love to be around my brother and would really benefit from having another cat in the home. I am only about 6 months old. I love to be around other cats but will not be able to live with dogs. I should do fine with children, but I am a little nervous at first. I am a professional biscuit maker and love to get love! If you are ready to give me the life I deserve, please fill out an application today!

Story
EMMETT is the epitome of a super sweet, one year old male cat. Pure heaven for Emmett will be your lap. Your reward: the soothing purr of a warm cat on your lap and big head butts! His passion for people, who give him the attention he thrives on, is a far cry from the first year of his sad life. Born into a home of a 59 cat hoarder, while existing in a feces/urine lined house, made him appreciate the good life once neutered, medicated and shaved of their matted waste and placed in a foster home along with his 3 brothers. They were starved for what they never knew existed - attention and affection - to the point of jealousy from Emmett - he wanted his foster mom all to himself; therefore, it's important that he be the only cat in the home. Emmett and his brothers, Aro, Edward & Carlisle are so deserving of a loving home. Please make it yours.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.•Lewistown, PA• Hi! My name is Apryl. I am 2 years old. I have long fur that curls on my belly and feet. I like to mother all the other cats. I get along with the other cats and dogs in my foster home. I like to curl up on mom’s blanket and cuddle with her. I’m very laid back and not to much bothers me. I use the litter box, I am spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all my vaccines.
