Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.•Lewistown, PA• Hi! My name is Apryl. I am 2 years old. I have long fur that curls on my belly and feet. I like to mother all the other cats. I get along with the other cats and dogs in my foster home. I like to curl up on mom’s blanket and cuddle with her. I’m very laid back and not to much bothers me. I use the litter box, I am spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all my vaccines. When applying to adopt through ODAAT, please know that we take pride in placing our animals appropriately based on their needs and personality. We want the best family for them and the perfect fit for your family. All applications are ran prior to choosing an adopter.. Story
Hi guys, Marigold here! I have been at the shelter for more than a year now. My medical needs tend to shoo people away but this is not the ideal environment for me to live the rest of my life. I need a low-traffic home and a fluffy bed to call my own! I am a gorgeous 3 year old girl who ended up at the shelter as a stray. I am a very sweet girl, but I will need a dedicated home that will take care of me. Not long after coming in, I began having seizures. I was started on medication, but it took some time for the staff here at the shelter to get me leveled out. I am on two different medications that I take twice a day. This medication is relatively inexpensive but MUST be continued. I take my meds with no problem too! I do enjoy the company of other cats, but it would likely be best if there were no young children in the home as I can be a bit jumpy and do not like to be picked up. I would prefer a home without dogs but I do enjoy the company of other laid back cats. If you think you may be the right home for me, please submit an application for me today.
