Birthday: December 1, 2023 Perry is nothing but gentle, gentle, and gentle! When he was found outside, he immediately took to the humans who attempted to rescue him. Once he was placed in his foster home, he somehow grew even sweeter and more affectionate! Everything about him screams sweet soul. He loves humans to a fault, and nothing seems like it's going to change his mind.  Perry is a lap kitty by definition who will spend his time sleeping next to you.  When there isn't a human to snuggle, he will find a window to watch the world go by. He doesn't show any interest in toys as of yet, but he's just too darn interested in what you're doing! He absolutely LOVES wet food, so he really hopes you have plenty of it! He'll allow people to pick him up and dote on him without trying to wriggle free.  He's a little timid at first, but once he's adjusted, he will stop at nothing to love you! A quieter home would be best for him, but if you have other kitties at home or even calm puppy dogs, he won't mind! How can a boy like Perry be even more gentle? This absolutely stunning boy is Alder! He was found as a stray in Philipsburg on Alder street, hence his name. He loves to soak up all the attention he can, but also likes to be the center of attention so we think he would do best in a home where he`s the only kitty. He loves to play with toy and anything with feathers are by far favorite. He is also a catnip fiend!!! He loves it when its in his toys or just sprinkled onto his bed. Speaking of bed, if he fits he sits! He loves to get into boxes and toy bins and use them as his bed. This comical and cuddly boy is looking for his furrever home. Better known as Fluff, he loves to hang out with you, loves to lap sit for short periods, and is very friendly and affectionate as long as you're a human. He's not particularly good with other cats but great for an 'only-one-cat' kind of person. Fluff wandered into a stray cat feeding station in Harrisburg, looking like he'd just stepped out of the groomer's. He was a pet, as evidenced by a microchip, but his owner was never located. He's a long-haired cat but doesn't seem to need much brushing. He's also a perfect litter box user.Fluff is fully vetted. He's neutered and current on his vaccines and received a clean bill of health during a physical exam, including a negative fecal test. He also tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV. An adoption donation of $25 and reference checks are required. Birthday: October 1, 2024 Gita isn't a newcomer to our rescue, but her return wasn't a fault of her own. She was having difficulty thriving in a home with young children, and after some considerable thought, her owner decided she needed a home that would welcome Gita without the extra stress.  So, here she is again.  Gita may not be a fan of toddlers and other animals, but she's a treasure that would be wonderful in any quiet home.  There is only one word to describe Gita, and that's "sweet." She craves human attention and affection. She personally tries to connect with her human in ways most other pets don't. With a gorgeous calico face like that, who could resist befriending her? She turns into putty whenever you pet her, erupting into loud purrs.  To show her appreciation, she "gifts" you little gentle licks on your hand. Her soft fur is so fluffy that it's like petting a plush animal.  So if you're someone with no little humans or other pets running around, consider Gita! She would be the only pet you'd ever need!
