Jupiter is an affectionate, loving kitty who is fine being an only cat or being in a household with others. She loves to explore the house, sit in the window sunning, and napping next to you. She does not mind being picked up and carried but will also follow you around.

Purd came to us with her bonded sister, Lucy, due to housing issues. Despite the changes in her life, Purd has remained a super sweet, affectionate girl who loves attention and enjoys being close to her people. Purd and Lucy share a very strong bond and rely on each other for comfort, so they must be adopted together. They love spending their days sunbathing together and cuddling up in bed, and they truly thrive when they're by each other's side. Because of their bond and preference for a peaceful environment, they should be adopted together into a home where they will be the only pets. Both girls are previously declawed and will need a strictly indoor-only home to keep them safe and comfortable. Purd may stop using the litter box when she becomes stressed, so she'll do best in a calm, patient home that allows her time to adjust. Purd is spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated (rabies will need to be updated). She's hoping to find a loving family where she and Lucy can spend the rest of their lives together, soaking up the sunshine, cuddling close, and enjoying all the love they deserve.

This kitten is available for PRE ADOPT ONLY, expected to be ready for pickup in late July 2026. You can meet a kitten now, reserve it, get updates as it grows big enough for neuter, and schedule pickup at a later date. Kittens under 6 months old must go to a home with another friendly, young kitty; or be adopted with a friend.

Meet Margo, a stunning long-haired tortie that is approximately a year and a half old. Margo came to Spicy Whiskers from Mineral Wells Shelter with her 3 kittens, and she was malnourished from raising them on her own. From the start, Margo was so sweet, but after some TLC, dry food, and a little tuna, she revealed her playful, goofy side. If you’re looking for a devoted companion who will greet you with purrs and endless affection, Margo is your girl! Along with her striking looks, Margo is adorably friendly, curious, and loves attention. Her favorite activities include playing with catnip mice, lounging on the cat tree and in the windowsill, and making biscuits on fluffy blankets. Margo loves belly rubs and being petted all over making her an ideal family pet! She is super adaptable to new situations and just goes with the flow. Although she has a longer coat, the soft and fine texture makes it easy to take care of with a couple of short brushing sessions each week. Margo is an expert at scratching pads and posts and has excellent manners. She likes to be picked up, is great with nail trims, and has perfect litterbox manners. Margo does well with other cats, but we are not aware if she is good with dogs. All Spicy Whiskers cats are fully vetted, vaccinated, dewormed, deflead, tested FIV/FeLV negative, rabies vaccinated, spayed/neutered, and microchipped before adoption.

Meet Poppie, a stunning medium-haired brown tabby with a huge personality and an even bigger love for life. Poppie has cerebellar hypoplasia (CH), which makes her a little wobbly on her feet, but don't expect her to slow down because of it. She gets around beautifully, has no idea she's any different, and approaches every day with enthusiasm and confidence. Poppie is the kind of cat who wants to be part of everything. She’s social, outgoing, and happiest when she's spending time with her people. Whether she's supervising your daily activities, snuggling on the couch, or handing out her signature little love bites as a sign of affection, Poppie keeps life entertaining and full of love. Despite her wobbliness, Poppie has excellent manners. She does wonderfully with a high-sided litter box and navigates her world with determination and charm. Poppie also has a healthy dose of sass. While she isn't looking for a feline best friend, she can coexist with confident, self-assured cats who don't mind sharing their space with another cat that has a bit of attitude. She also does very well with polite, respectful dogs and would be a wonderful fit for a home with older children. Fully vetted and overflowing with personality, Poppie is a truly special girl. She’s beautiful inside and out and is ready to find a family that will embrace her quirks, appreciate her spunky spirit, and give her the loving home she deserves.
